Sorry for the confusion! It looks like you have another plugin installed or are using a part of your theme to display your feed. Our plugin will not produce that message.

Figured it out:
I’d copied in my username and NOT my instagram user ID.

I have an error. WP4.9.4. Latest plugin 1.62.
Instagram has returned invalid data. The instagram account is working, the plugin was working yesterday no problems.

It looks like you have our plugin installed but something else is creating the error message you see. There isn’t anything in Instagram Feed that would produce an error like this. You may need to contact the theme author to see what the problem might be.

Your problem occurs in the “free” version as well, however. As of April 4th you can no longer display feeds from other user accounts that you don’t also have access tokens for. Take a look at this article: https://smashballoon.com/instagram-api-changes-april-4-2018/
