Hello Tobias,
thanks for the brief info, but unfortunately within my options.php there is no entry about tablepress_options option at all to be found.
Please suggest how to proceed further?
Best, Alex
Hi,
did you open the options.php in a text editor (wrong way) or did you go to …/wp-admin/options.php in the browser (correct way)?

Hi Tobias,
I used cpanel and opened the wp-admin/options.php by using their editor.
Best, Alex
P.S As well I have one more problem to mention on my site which could be a part of this failure we face also with your plugin, to be found here > https://wordpress.org/support/topic/missing-capabilities-after-downgrade-from-multisite/. Maybe you have an idea to help in that way too.
Hi,
that cpanel way would also be incorrect. Please go directly to http://www.example.com/wp-admin/options.php in your browser (where example.com is your site).
There, you should find the relevant entries.
Ultimately, this is all related to your problem that you describing in the other support thread. Unfortunately, I can’t really help with that, but only help restore the TablePress capabilities (the procedure in my link above).
Besides using the User Role Editor plugin, I can also recommend the Members plugin from https://wordpress.org/plugins/members/ which also has a Role Manager component.

Tobias

Great tip. I have changed the setting accordingly and it has helped.
Many thanks, for solving this issue.

Hi,
no problem, you are very welcome! 🙂 Good to hear that this helped!
Best wishes,

P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress here in the plugin directory. Thanks!
