    how do i put the plugin into wordpresS? do i just upload the files to the folder where i installed wp?

    Put the file in wp-content/plugins .

    Most, if not all plugins have installation instructions. Be sure to carefully read the instructions in case there are additional things to do other than uploading to where macmanx suggests.
