home can not be set

    When I go set up my Homepage, in Agama & Agama blue theme, to:

    Dashboard->Apperance->Customize->General->Static Front Page

    and I choose: static home page, but I can not select Home Page like Home because it does not appear in the drop-down menu

    Where can I set the Home as Home Page and modify it by inserting some text?

    Hello @giulia74!

    For the static front page, you can only choose the pages you made,
    so, If you want to modify a static Homepage you need to make a new “Home”(call it whatever you want) page and pick that page from the “Homepage” drop-down list, then you will be able to find your page on the list of pages, in Dashboard->Pages (Next, to the page, you selected for Homepage in the list of pages will be written “Front-page”)and edit it.

    Hello!
    thank a lot for your response, but I also have another doubt: create a new home page does it means to loose theme setting (slider, front page boxes, etc)?
    I’ll need to create an home page with the same caracteristics of the old one, so it will not have to be an empty page

    Can you help me, please?

    Hi,
    You do not have to be afraid.
    To enable the Slider on Static Homepage, go to Customizing->Slider-> General and select a “Front Page” from the “Visibility” drop-down list,

    In order to display Front Page Boxes, go to
    Customizing->Front Page Boxes-> General and do the same.

    All other settings will remain.
