Related Posts Widget

My sister brought this to my attention when I was going to try out this theme for a blog, but the live demo for the free version shows a recent posts widget with thumbnails, but where is it in this version? I see there is CSS for it in the style.css, but no scripting. Is this widget not included in this free version?
