How to insert code before closing body tag?

    Hi,

    I need to insert code (aweber analytics javascript) just before the closing body tag. However I can’t simple edit the footer.php file – it won’t work.

    I’ve tried to use a plugin but it puts it far before the tag.

    I’ve tried to place a global widget and put the code there but again it’s placed way before the closing body tag.

    Are there any other options?
