    Hi @twinpictures and the Collapse-O-Matic team!

    I know you’ve answered a lot of related questions on how the Image is now working as Trigger, and you have put together some very helpful suggestions to trouble shoot this problem, but after hours of trying to follow all the suggestions (such as from http://spacedonkey.de/1317/collapse-o-matic-image-and-text-trigger/ ) but I just don’t get where the problem is.

    I tried both the regular way:
    [expand title="<img src='http://spacedonkey.de/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/ninja_turtles.jpg' />" tag="div"]

    And the roll-your-own way as I was thinking maybe the visual composer is causing problem since I’m using the short code within a VC text block:

    <img src="http://spacedonkey.de/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/ninja_turtles.jpg" class="collapseomatic noarrow" id="1" title="Hover over Trigger Text">
    <div id="target-1" class="collapseomatic_content ">

    Really appreciate your help! And yes I think your Collapse-O-Matic is really fantastic and that’s why I’m really hoping to be able to use it!

    Thank you!!

    JB

    try not using a hotlinked image from another site (spacedonkey.de in this case) but rather an image from the media library of WordPress.

    Hi @twinpictures,

    sorry I just saw your reply. No the image source is not the issue, I of course first used the image from my own WP media source, but that did not work. That’s why I thought I should just try with image from the example site. Were you able to take a look at the website link I provided?

    Thank you!

    Check the content element where the shortcode was entered in TEXT (not Visual) mode. Verify that the shortcode has not included code or span formatting tags from the example code that might have been copied over when pasted into the editor.

    Thank you @twinpictures!

    Yes, by placing the short code in “text” area did the trick. But I’m running into a new problem: it seems that at least one of the collapsed section MUST remain open.

    I.e. If I close one of the collapsed section, the other section will not stay closed and will pop open by default. Where is the control to have all the sections closed until the user click on it?

    Thanks again!

    Be sure you have unique ID’s assigned to each element. The ID tag must not be the same for multiple elements.
