multi page not working good with email fields

    Hello,

    Ik have made a multipage form. This is working fine except for the email-fields. In the form I use now at the moment normal text fields for the email addresses – and not required.

    If I change this fields to email fields an set this fields required all is also working find. But if email fields are set to not required it is impossible to switch to the next page.

    If you want I can make a simple form to show the behavior and export and email it to someone?

    Am I the only one with multi pages and a not required email field?

    If you take the standard template – add a page and set the submit button on page 2. Test the form and it works normal.

    Then set the required to false for the email field. And of course fill nothing in this field when testing.

    Then you can not navigate to page 2

    I can make a demo if that helps.

    This looks like it might be bug. I have reported the bug here: https://github.com/CalderaWP/Caldera-Forms/issues/2344. You can track the problem through that link, and if you would like, you can add more details, including the demo form export, to that report about the issue. This may help us get to it faster.

    For now, I would recommend the strategy described in the bug report. You can delete delete the field after creating a required one, then create a new one, and everything should work as expected.
