    Hi @blackfeel,

    The HTML is tripped from the default announcement content when the excerpts are generated. If you’d like to preserve your HTML, or setup full customized excerpts – feel free to install our free add-on Timeline Express – HTML Excerpts Add-On.

    You’ll enable a new field where you can enter any custom HTML you want, including videos, shortcodes etc. Without any of them being stripped. Additionally, there is no excerpt limit on the custom excerpt field, so you can generate excerpts as long or as short as you need.
