Description
ZEISMO SEO helps WordPress site owners, publishers and developers manage on-page SEO and technical SEO from one workspace. Edit SEO titles and meta descriptions, preview search appearance, review content checks and manage XML sitemaps, structured data and redirects.
All implemented local features in this WordPress.org edition are available without a paid plan or a ZEISMO account. Optional AI assistance uses the ZEISMO online service and has separate account and usage requirements.
On-page SEO in the WordPress editor
- Set a focus keyword, SEO title and meta description for posts and pages.
- Preview a search snippet and review title and description length.
- Review keyword placement, content analysis and readability feedback.
- Set canonical URLs, robots directives and social sharing metadata.
- Use title templates to keep metadata consistent across content.
Analysis checks are editorial guidance, not a prediction of search rankings or traffic. Search engines can choose a different title or description from the one you provide.
Technical SEO and site structure
- Configure XML sitemaps and content exclusions.
- Add structured data for supported content types, including articles, breadcrumbs, FAQs and local business information.
- Manage redirects and inspect recorded 404 requests.
- Check broken links and review internal-link opportunities.
- Manage image alt text, hreflang and search-engine verification settings.
- Review robots directives, HTML sitemap settings and site diagnostics.
A practical setup and migration workflow
The setup wizard covers site essentials, identity and optional account connection. Import supported metadata from Yoast SEO, Rank Math and All in One SEO after backing up your site.
Optional AI assistance
Connect a ZEISMO account for title and description drafts, content briefs and page suggestions. No personal AI API key is needed. Review drafts before applying them. Paid plans increase online-service allowances, not access to local features.
Updates for this edition come from WordPress.org. The separate ZEISMO marketplace edition has its own plans and updater. Features marked Planned are not yet implemented.

External services
Local analysis runs on your WordPress site. The following optional features make network requests.
ZEISMO service
Account connections and optional AI features are provided by ZEISMO. Connect your ZEISMO account to use eligible AI features and manage your SEO plan. A ZEISMO CRM subscription is not required.
- Account creation happens only after an administrator enters a name, email and company, selects the consent box, and submits the form. Those values and the site URL are sent to ZEISMO so the account and connection token can be created.
- After an account is connected, eligible administrator visits may send the site URL, plugin version and a main-file fingerprint to refresh the licence and feature manifest. The result is cached for three hours.
- AI and performance requests happen only after an administrator presses the relevant button. The selected task, site URL and the page content or public URL needed for that task are sent to ZEISMO. ZEISMO returns the generated result and quota status.
- Opening plan controls may fetch the current plan catalogue. Pressing an upgrade button asks ZEISMO to create a checkout URL.
- The ZEISMO direct build checks ZEISMO for approved plugin updates. The WordPress.org build contains no ZEISMO updater and uses WordPress.org updates.
Technical service disclosure: the current plugin communicates with ZEISMO-operated HTTPS API endpoints on crm.zeismo.com for account connection, licensing and AI requests. This hostname identifies the service infrastructure, not a requirement to use the ZEISMO CRM product.

IndexNow
IndexNow is an optional instant-indexing protocol. It is disabled by default in the WordPress.org build. After an administrator enables it, publishing or updating public content, or manually submitting the sitemap, sends the public page or sitemap URL, the site’s IndexNow verification key and the public key-file URL to https://api.indexnow.org/indexnow. Participating search engines use this information to discover the submitted URL. IndexNow terms and privacy provisions: https://www.indexnow.org/terms
Public URL checks
Broken-link checks and competitor comparisons run only when an administrator starts them. They make ordinary HTTP requests to the public URLs the administrator asks the plugin to check. The destination server receives the requested URL and standard HTTP request information, including a ZEISMO SEO user agent that identifies the requesting site’s public URL. Each destination website’s own terms and privacy policy apply.
Stripe checkout
If an administrator chooses a paid ZEISMO plan, the browser is redirected to a Stripe-hosted checkout page. Payment details are entered directly on Stripe and are not collected by this plugin. Stripe terms: https://stripe.com/legal/consumer Privacy policy: https://stripe.com/privacy
The optional “Visitor pulse” counter contacts only the same WordPress site. It is disabled by default in the WordPress.org build and begins only after an administrator enables it. It stores aggregate counts in five-minute buckets for 24 hours, without cookies, visitor profiles, raw IP addresses or external transmission.

FAQ
-
Do I need an account or a paid plan?
-
Local features need no account or paid plan. Optional ZEISMO online services require an account and may have usage limits or paid plans.
-
Do I need my own AI API key?
-
No. Optional AI requests use ZEISMO’s server-side service. Review the External services section for data sent and the circumstances in which requests occur.
-
Will this guarantee higher rankings?
-
No. SEO tools can help you review metadata and technical settings, but rankings, indexing and rich results are decided by search engines. Scores and previews are guidance, not guaranteed outcomes.
-
Can I import from another SEO plugin?
-
Import selected metadata from Yoast SEO, Rank Math and All in One SEO. Back up first and inspect the imported fields.
-
Are IndexNow and Visitor pulse enabled automatically?
-
No. Both are disabled by default in the WordPress.org edition and require administrator opt-in. Their behavior is documented below under External services.
-
Where can I get help or request a feature?
-
Use the linked WordPress.org support forum and ZEISMO guide. Include versions and reproduction steps, never passwords, licence secrets or private customer data.
