Description
YellowLab Stop Core Emails adds a focused settings page under Settings > Stop Core Emails, where administrators can disable selected native WordPress email notifications.
You can manage email notifications for:
- automatic plugin updates
- automatic theme updates
- automatic WordPress core updates
- available core update notices
- new user notifications sent to administrators
- user password changes
- password change notices sent to administrators
- user email address changes
- site administrator email address changes
- new comments
- comments waiting for moderation
- critical error and recovery mode messages
The plugin does not block updates, user actions, comments, or recovery features. It only disables the selected email notifications.
After activation, open Settings > Stop Core Emails or use the Settings link on the Plugins screen.

- Upload the ZIP file from Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
- Activate the plugin.

Does this plugin stop WordPress updates?

No. It only stops selected email notifications. Updates continue to run normally.

Does this plugin block emails from third-party plugins?

Not necessarily. Notifications sent by third-party plugins, WooCommerce, hosting systems, or external services may not pass through WordPress core filters.
