Description
This plugin connects a WooCommerce store to its courier (delivery company) when that courier runs on Yalhem Shipping System (سيستم شحن يلهم), in Saudi Arabia and Egypt. Orders become shipments without copying addresses by hand, and the delivery status comes back into WooCommerce.
What is Yalhem Shipping System?
Yalhem Shipping System is an Arabic-first platform that local courier and last-mile delivery companies use to run their whole operation. It is made by Yalhem (يلهم).
- For the courier: shipments, hubs, assigning orders to drivers, a driver app, cash-on-delivery collection and merchant payouts.
- For merchants (stores): a store portal to create shipments, print labels and see money collected, plus WooCommerce and Shopify connections.
- For customers: a live tracking page where they can follow the driver, reschedule, or send their location.
Each courier has its own account. A store using this plugin gets its API key from its courier, not from Yalhem.

What the plugin does
- Shipments from orders: automatically when an order reaches a status you choose (Processing by default), or with a button / bulk action.
- Cash on delivery: orders paid with your COD methods go out with the order total for the driver to collect.
- Labels: print the courier’s label from the order screen or the orders list.
- Live status: out for delivery, delivered, failed attempt… appear as order notes; delivered orders can be completed automatically.
- Tracking for customers: a tracking link in the order page and emails.
- Shipping price at checkout: a shipping method that shows the courier’s price for the customer’s city and the cart weight.
- City names are matched for you: “Riyadh”, “al-Khobar”, “Nasr City” and Arabic spellings all work. For cities split into districts (like Riyadh), the district is found in the address.
Works with HPOS (custom order tables) and the block checkout.
External services
This plugin sends order shipping data (customer name, phone, address, city, items, order total for cash on delivery) to the Yalhem Shipping System API of your courier
(default https://shipping.yalhem.com) when a shipment is created or a shipping price is requested, and receives delivery updates from it.

Installation
- Install and activate the plugin.
- Ask your courier for an API key for your store (they create it in Settings Integrations (API)).
- WooCommerce Settings Shipping Yalhem Shipping: paste the key and save. You’ll see “Connected to …”.
- Optional: add the “Yalhem Shipping (live price)” method to a shipping zone.
Your site must be reachable over HTTPS for delivery updates to arrive.

Where do I get the API key?

From your courier. They create it for your store in their Yalhem Shipping System account, under Settings Integrations (API).

My courier doesn’t use Yalhem Shipping System. Can I still use the plugin?

No. The plugin only talks to couriers on Yalhem Shipping System. You can point your courier to shipping.yalhem.com or yalhem.com.
