Users should be able to navigate a website in a simple and quick way. Showing a list of page numbers where they can go is meaningless in my opinion, because they don’t know what they are going to find at page 16 or page 21. If you want to give this, give them a list of titles, not of pages. But titles take a lot of room, so their list has to be separated, for those who know where they want to go. For people who want just to go on, the best thing is just an arrow (not words). Moreover, this arrow has to be within reach, you should’t need to go to the top or the bottom of an article to be able to go to the next one. Here is where CBX Next Previous Article has its strength. I would like even more customization options, at least for the Pro version. Currently the “Custom” option in the Pro version allows you to create your custom arrow, but you haven’t much choice about its size: I would like to be able to have a much bigger arrow. Apart from that, I am very happy, not only about this plugin, but also about the very helpful support I got from the developer.

I set up this plugin so it would be visible only on the blog portion of my site and not the static pages. It works perfectly well as a complement to the next or previous items at the bottom of each article. Thank you for a great plugin.

I might be old school but right to go to the next post is normal for me, and left to go back Anyway — works perfectly in standard blogs and when I had a problem in a Divi installation the author fixed it with a simple CSS code snippet (z axis issue) – anybody not seeing the arrows this is probably the reason. Top marks for simplicity and service.
