Reviews

Preferred user role editor plugin

A solid plugin to use for creating custom user roles on a site, very easy to clone permissions of an existing user role and then set the new permissions on the new custom user role.

Great customer service

I bought this for a freelance project without realizing that it had a recurring subscription fee, requiring me to find an alternative solution. Syam provided a full refund on request, despite this being my fault. I appreciate his flexibility and professionalism, and he has earned my future business.

Great Work!

It’s probably the best Role Editor on the entire wordpress site.
here are some example:

– Very easy to use
– Great Support ( answar witen a few hours )
– Moderate permissions ( like what can the user do and don’t do )
– Rename Roles (example i can rename Editor till whatever you want it to be)

Thanks alot for giving us this, however i think this plugin need an ” Pending Register ”
like whenever a new user register at your’re site you can Accept or Decline the request as you wish, to avoid getting hackers, bots etc. In your website.
Hope to see some great features soon.

Great Support – Thorough and Prompt

Syam has been very responsive to my support requests for the Pro version, frequently explaining the reasoning behind what and how the plug-in does what it does and why alternative features wouldn’t work. Even prior to upgrading to the pro version, he provided great feed back to several pre-sales questions I had.

Works but…

Ok, honestly, the plugin pretty much works as advertised. I have found some bugs or problems that have not really been addressed in a timely or agreeable manner.

My frustration is the support for a paid plugin is not what I would expect for the money. It takes days for a reply. The developer is a little paranoid and doesn’t allow images to be uploaded to his forum or even privately when he requests them.

It just feels like the support process is harder and less in favor of the customer than necessary for the premium charge for the plugin.

I would really like to give more stars if I felt the support was more “supportive” and customer focused.

Update: I requested a refund and he promptly issued it.
