Where can I report an error?

Help! It all looks wrong and nothing works!

Navigate to {your_site_url}/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpsc_admin_settings&wpsc_debug=true&wpsc_ebs=true

This will force enable Bootstrap support. Settings can be adjusted under Support Centre -> Settings -> Help

What information should I include when requesting support
  • A description of the problem, including screenshots and information from your browser`s error / debug console
  • URL of your blog (you can turn WP Support Centre off, but should be willing to turn it briefly on to have the error visible)
  • your WP Support Centre settings (including a description of changes you made to the configuration to try to troubleshoot yourself)
  • the Theme used (including the Theme`s download link)
  • optionally plugins used (if you suspect one or more plugins are raising havoc)
  • you may be asked to provide an administrator login to your WordPress installation
I want out, how should I remove WP Support Centre?
  • Disable the plugin
  • Delete the plugin
Email Piping

NOTE: We recommend using IMAP settings now available in WP Support Centre

IMPORTANT: Email Piping support will be removed in favour of IMAP in an upcoming release. We recommend changing to IMAP ASAP!

Email Piping is the method of sending email messages to a program allowing the program to process the message.
It is recommended that the email address being used be dedicated to email piping only.
You will also need to enable Email Piping within your Email Account / Hosting Server settings.

We can only advise on how to configure within cPanel. If you are using a different hosting method then you will have to identify how to set up email forwarding yourself I am sorry.

For cPanel:

  1. Log in to your cPanel
  2. Navigate to Mail and select Forwarders
  3. Click on Add Forwarder
  4. Enter the Address to Forward
  5. Select Pipe to a program (you may need to click on Advanced Options to see the Pipe to a program option)
  6. Enter the path to the piping.php file of the WP Support Centre plugin. For example: /home/username/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-support-centre/piping/piping.php
  7. Click on Add Forwarder

Account Types:
– Primary: This is the account where all emails are automatically processed by WP Support Centre. Only one (1) Primary account can be set.
– Catch All: Allows read only access in the mailbox (Support Centre > Mailbox) and allows you to read emails and select to create a new ticket or add the email to an existing ticket as a new thread.

IMAP used with WordPress CRON system to check the Primary account for new emails every 2 minutes. As the WordPress CRON is reliant on traffic to the site to trigger the CRON jobs you may wish to configure your own CRON job if your hosting allows. For example:

wget -q -O – https://domain.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-support-centre/imap/imap.php >/dev/null 2>&1

Does not work

Creating a ticket does not work. I understand the author is not developing this any longer but it should be noted that this no longer functions.

Superb but needs Translated

Superb plugin. Easy to use and easy to uunderstand.
Needs language pot file (Hop it comes soon)
I was able to change the color brown and yellow. Looks terrible. but i maded. 🙂

It’s needed a language pot to translate it in local languages.

Best Plugin ever.

Beats all other!

Just used this plugins. And I can say that it beats all other helpdesk plugins right out of the water. This free has features that are available only in PRO versions of other plugins. FOr eg. Email piping

And it is extremely easy to configure.
Deserves much more reviews than it currently has.
Thanks again for this wonderful plugin.

It is very functional plugin ever. I’ve toured every helpdesk plugin, but most of them are too buggy. but there are something to improve.
1. When if create a new ticket, it would be better using to search username or email than the first or last name.
2. When searching the name in creating a new ticket, the non-alphabet character didn’t work. so I suggest the above thing.
3. For mobile responsive (in the admin area) is not good because of too many boxes, dropboxes and options. I think it could be better.
4. Default actions are needed.
Anyway, it is still very excellent plugin without considering it’s free. I guess it would be much better with improving the layout design.

Does what it says, great support!

This is a great little plugin! I needed a support ticket system that would look good, fit with my Customizer theme, and be responsive. I specifically needed the email piping system, that was a priority for me. I searched and found one other that offered email piping, but I had to pay extra for that. So I came back to this one; I was a bit apprehensive when I saw only 50+ intalls and 2 reviews, but after much nail biting, decided to give it a shot.

So I very nervously installed this plugin .. only to find to my absolute delight that it worked like a dream! And it was so easy to configure … I did not even have to refer to the documentation.

There was a small hiccup with the way the layout displayed in my theme, so I wrote to the developer and within hours he had not only replied, but fixed the problem and advised me to upgrade to the new version. Wow!

When you consider I paid NOTHING for it … because I am using the free version … that speedy support and solution provided was phenomenal.

Thank you David and team, keep up the good work. If you develope any other plugins I am interested in testing them for you.

This Plugin is Not For Me

I liked the concept of this plugin, and its apparent ease of use. That was until I installed and configured it. I ran a test ticket on my site and the button stuck. Clicked it again. Still no response. A few minutes later, I ended up with six tickets in the queue. When I tried working with those ticket, it would freeze up. Overall the operation is just not that great.

Second I don’t like that there is no option to turn off file uploads. I don’t know if at some point I might want that feature, but seems like a spammers paradise.

Finally, I strongly dislike that there is no option for switching between the American and British spelling of Center/Centre. It’s a perception thing. I don’t want my customers thinking my support is outsourced.

So for those reasons I’m out.
