WP SimpleMind Maps plugin will display SimpleMind maps on your WordPress website. This plugin can be used to display maps generated by SimpleMind Pro for Windows.

With the free WP SimpleMind Maps version, you will get to display mind maps individually, using a short code for each map.

The WP SimpleMind Plus version will allow you to display maps with active navigation links leading to websites, landing pages, cloud documents and/or other mind maps. Moreover, the WP SimpleMind Plus version allows you to import only the master map in a group of maps interlinked to one another, thus freeing you from a lot of work.

WP SimpleMind plugin has been developed, and is maintained and supported by Telicom. For the free version, Telicom does not store any data. It just checks if the user is a paid user with a token. At time of subscription, Telicom stores the name and email address of the user and provides a token, which will be used to validate that he subscription has been paid and is in good standing. Otherwise, this plugin does not send any personal or business data to Telicom.

Telicom does not disclose any data of user to any 3rd party company. Users personal data is stored in a secure database. We are not informed by PayPal of your credit card number and, therefore, do not know and cannot store credit card data into our database.

Special Note

Zip (.zip) file name must bear the same name as SimpleMind main file (.smmx)“. Example: If the Main file name is ‘file.smmx’, the Zip file must be named ‘file.zip’. Click here for detailed instructions.


  1. In the Plugin section of your WordPress site dashboard, click on Add New.
  2. Enter SimpleMind in the Search Box. Click on Install Now. Click on Activate.

Displaying a SimpleMind map

  1. In SimpleMind Pro for Windows, create a .zip file from the main menu: /Mindmaps/Share/Export as website/
  2. In your WordPress site, in the Dashboard, locate SimpleMind Map on the left menu.
  3. Click on Upload SimpleMind Map Zip File.
  4. Drag the .zip file map in the box.
  5. Copy the Short Code.
  6. Create a new page and title it.
  7. Paste the Short Code.
  8. Click on Update.


How does it work?

First, you need to create a .zip file from the SimpleMind Pro for Windows application. To do so, from the main menu, go to /Mindmap/Share/Export as website /. Then from the WP SimpleMind Maps plugin, upload the SimpleMind map you wish to display, copy the short code and insert it in a page of your website. For detailed instructions, click here.

What are the features of the free Basic version?

You will be able to display, on a page of your website, a mind map created with the SimpleMind application. The created links, if any, will not be active on the displayed map. Each map must be uploaded individually in order to be displayed distinctly, using its short code, on a page of your website.

What are the features of the paid Plus version?

You will be able to display, on a page of your website, a mind map created with the SimpleMind application. The links leading to a website, a landing pages and cloud stored documents, as well as links leading to other SimpleMind maps , will be active and fully functional. Moreover, you will need to import only the mother map; all of the child maps will automatically be imported and interlinked. Only one short code will be required, no matter on many child maps are interlinked.
