WP SimpleMail


WP SimpleMail allows you to access an email account from your WordPress Dashboard. All it requires
is that you have access to an IMAP compatible email account. SimpleMail 2.0
now available.


  • Viewing an Email

  1. Upload the wp-simplemail folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. An ‘Email Settings’ link should appear under the ‘Settings’ menu
  4. In the provided fields insert your Host name, your Username, and your Password and click Save Changes


What is Host in the configuration menu?

This is the address of your mail server. It can be an IP (ie, a domain (ie,
or localhost. You should also include a port number in this address. For IMAP this is typically 143. Your complete
