Useful but not perfect

Yes it really helps to see the shortcodes better but I see a bug and there is much room for improvement. IMO the attributes should be in a different color too. The content needs padding. And the styling should also allow to adjust the round corners (I’m preferring them edgy) and to switch the border off. The editor buttons are to big too. Icons only would be so much nicer. In the settings the preview is displaying the colors different from the editor. Blue and black are interchanged.

If the plugin should be improved I’ll fairly adjust my rating. It’s pointing in the right direction but there is more way to go.

What I have been looking for …. 🙂

So nice to make shortcodes stand out from the rest of the content

This plugin does just that : highlights shortcodes in the TinyMCE editor, making them easier to see. … and I hope it will make life easier.

To the developer Roland Murg : @murgroland

Thanks for this plugin 🙂

Would be nice if it was possible to choose your own colors 🙂

Update : I’ve to say that there are som bugs (@murgroland is working on them)
