  • What it does: Wisper connects your website’s live chat widget with your Telegram supergroup using the official Telegram Bot API. When a website visitor sends a live chat message or optional image attachment, the plugin sends this data via secure HTTPS request to https://api.telegram.org to create or update a dedicated topic thread in your Telegram supergroup. When an operator replies within that Telegram topic, Telegram sends a secure webhook back to your site to display the message in the visitor’s chat widget.
  • Data Transmitted: Visitor message text, visitor session identifier, current page URL, and optional customer image attachments. Data is sent only upon user action (sending a chat message or attachment). No visitor data is sent to any other third party.
