Description

Webtaru Secure Login Rescue is a lightweight and powerful security plugin that allows you to easily and safely change the URL of the login form page. It intercepts all attempts to access wp-login.php or the wp-admin directory directly and blocks them, showing a 404 page or redirecting to the homepage.

To prevent you from being locked out of your own site, the plugin generates a secure, private Rescue Recovery Key. If you ever forget your custom login slug, visiting your unique rescue link will verify your credentials and let you view or reset the login path instantly.

How It Stands Out (No More Administrator Lockouts)

In a directory with hundreds of generic “Hide Login” plugins, Webtaru Secure Login Rescue offers a critical security advancement: integrated Anti-Lockout Recovery.

Usually, when you change your login URL and forget it, or if your database/options are cached incorrectly, you are locked out of your own site. Fixing this typically requires FTP or cPanel database access to deactivate the plugin.

With this plugin, a secure, private 16-character cryptographic rescue key is generated upon activation. By bookmarking or saving your recovery link, you can safely bypass the block in an emergency to view your secret login path or reset the slug back to default. This guarantees that you are never locked out of your own site while still maintaining robust brute-force protection.

Features

  • Rename Login URL: Change your login page to any custom slug (e.g., my-secret-entry).
  • Block wp-login.php: Stop brute-force bots right at the entrance.
  • Block wp-admin Access: Logged-out users attempting to access wp-admin directly will be blocked.
  • Anti-Lockout Rescue: Safe recovery link ensures administrators never get locked out.
  • Premium Settings Page: Clean, modern, responsive settings interface built with HSL CSS design.
  • Lightweight: Tiny performance footprint on your website loading speed.
