Webauditaitool Site Credibility Checker

Description

Webauditaitool Site Credibility Checker checks common website credibility signals and shows a Credibility Score directly in your WordPress dashboard — no external tools and no signup required for the basic check.

  • Credibility Score (0–100) — calculated from HTTPS, a Privacy Policy page, an About page, findable contact information, author bios, identity schema, and testimonials/reviews
  • Mostly reads your own WordPress data — whether you have a Privacy Policy page set, an About page, and author bios are all checked directly from your site’s own database, with no HTTP request at all
  • Dashboard widget — see your score at a glance every time you log in
  • Re-scan on demand — results are cached (default 12 hours) but you can force a fresh scan anytime
  • “Get Full Credibility Audit” — a clearly-marked upgrade path to a complete website credibility audit

How it works

  1. Install and activate the plugin
  2. Open Site Credibility in your WordPress admin menu, or check the dashboard widget
  3. Most checks run instantly from your site’s own settings; a couple look at your homepage’s own HTML for contact details and testimonials
  4. Fix what’s flagged, or click Get Full Credibility Audit for the complete report

External services

Most of this plugin’s checks (Privacy Policy page, About page, author bios) read only your site’s own WordPress database and make no HTTP request at all. Two checks (contact information, testimonials/schema) fetch your own site’s homepage (via wp_remote_get() to your site’s own home_url()) to compute the Credibility Score shown in your dashboard. No data from this is sent anywhere; the request stays between your server and itself.

The “Get Full Credibility Audit” button is a plain outbound link, followed only if you click it. It opens WebAudit AI Tool (https://webauditaitool.com/audit by default, configurable under Site Credibility Settings) in a new tab, passing your homepage URL and Lite Credibility Score as URL query parameters so the destination page can be pre-filled. No request is made to this service unless you click the button.

WebAudit AI Tool is operated by the plugin author. See their terms of service (https://webauditaitool.com/terms) and privacy policy (https://webauditaitool.com/privacy).

FAQ

Does this scan other websites?

No — Webauditaitool Site Credibility Checker only looks at your own site: its own database (pages, authors, Privacy Policy setting) and, for a couple of checks, its own homepage HTML. It never fetches anything from another domain.

Why does it check my Privacy Policy page setting?

A published Privacy Policy is one of the clearest, most checkable credibility signals a site can have — and WordPress already has a built-in setting for it (Settings Privacy), so this plugin simply reads that setting rather than guessing.

Where does “Get Full Credibility Audit” send me?

To WebAudit AI Tool (webauditaitool.com/audit) by default. The destination can be changed under Site Credibility Settings.
