Description
A standalone WooCommerce shipping holiday policy plugin. It requires WooCommerce, but does not require Delivery & Pickup Scheduling.
Choose multiple individual holiday dates in one rule, or use a continuous date range. Unselected days between individual dates remain open. Each rule supports up to 366 individual dates, with duplicates removed automatically. Existing range rules continue to work.
Create dated rules targeting a country, state, postcode patterns, shipping method or specific shipping method instance. All populated criteria must match. Empty criteria apply to all shipping destinations and services.
- Pause affected checkout while a matching holiday is active.
- Accept orders with delayed fulfilment and automatically save the earliest service-resumption date and explanation on affected orders.
- Shop/product notices use the known customer destination or current cart selection. Service-specific notices require a selected shipping service.
- Live notices follow the customer’s address and selected shipping service in Classic and Block Checkout.
- Saved notices appear in order administration, customer order totals and emails, and survive later rule changes.
- Uses WooCommerce order CRUD and supports HPOS.
- No booking calendar, delivery slot selection, fulfilment-method selector or additional delivery fees. No dependency on a scheduling plugin.
Dates use the WordPress timezone and both endpoints are included. Overlapping pauses take precedence; service resumption is the first date outside all matching holiday ranges. This date is not a carrier transit estimate or a guaranteed arrival date. Ordinary weekends are not automatically excluded.
Only physical shipping carts are affected. Local pickup can be targeted by shipping method; its destination is the customer/package destination, not an inferred pickup facility. Rules do not change available rates. Affected rates remain selectable and checkout is validated on the server.
Public availability requests return customer-facing messages and a resumption date only. Addresses are not stored by the preview endpoint. Internal rule definitions are not returned. No external service or tracking is used.

- Enter dates and optional destination/service criteria, enable the rule and save.
- Test an affected and unaffected shipping destination/service.
FAQ
-
Does it require Delivery & Pickup Scheduling?
-
No. This plugin manages shipping holiday policy and messages independently.
-
Can customers select a fulfilment date?
-
No. Delayed orders receive an automatically calculated service-resumption notice. Date and slot booking belongs in a separate scheduling plugin.
-
How do postcodes work?
-
Comma-separated exact codes or * wildcards, for example 395*, 380001, SW1*. Spaces and hyphens are ignored. Numeric ranges are not supported.
-
What happens to older settings?
-
Version 2 introduces a separate rule option. Earlier global holiday settings are not imported. Configure the new rules after updating. Settings and historical order messages are retained when the plugin is removed.
-
What is outside scope?
-
Manual admin orders, subscription renewals and other external order creation do not pass standard checkout enforcement. Custom split-destination plugins require staging verification. Disable duplicate holiday restrictions in other plugins if they conflict.
