This plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.



This plugin provides a simple chat system for your blog. It utilizes the Pusher service to provide real time communications using web sockets. You must sign up for a free account at and configure Ubiety under the WordPress administration panel to use this plugin.

  1. Signup for a free account at Pusher.
  2. Upload ubiety directory to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  3. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  4. Navigate to Plugins -> Ubiety Configuration under WordPress administration panel and fill in your Pusher details.


The bottom bar doesn’t show up at all!

I’ve run into this problem with people using themes that don’t properly call wp_footer(); in their footer.php Please ensure you have this line in footer.php in your wp-content/themes/whatever/footer.php file:
