TuneSera Internet Radio Directory

Description

TuneSera Internet Radio Directory turns your WordPress site into a searchable radio station directory with a live sticky player. A setup wizard creates your directory page in minutes, and you can import stations, upload your own CSV or add stations by hand.

Free Features

  • Bundled stations: 1,186 ready-to-import stations from 30 countries, included with the plugin.
  • Radio directory: Search, country and genre filters, sorting, pagination, and list or grid layouts. Visitors’ last filters and view are remembered.
  • Browse pages: Browse stations by country, genre or language with search, A–Z filters and station counts.
  • Station pages: A page for every station with its logo, details, contact and social links, plus location archives and RadioStation structured data.
  • Live player: A sticky player that keeps playing while visitors browse, with now-playing info for Icecast, SHOUTcast, ICY and Zeno streams when available.
  • Sharing: Share stations by link, email, device share sheet, WhatsApp, Facebook or X. Each option can be turned off.
  • Station imports: Import the bundled directory or a CSV file, review before importing, avoid duplicates, and run imports in the background.
  • Import history: Track progress, view per-country results, download reports and export history as CSV.
  • Easy management: Setup wizard, dashboard, station editor with a stream tester, location explorer and genre management.
  • Design: Colour presets, a custom accent colour and a live preview on desktop, tablet and mobile.
  • Shortcodes: [tunesera_directory], [tunesera_stations], [tunesera_station], [tunesera_search], [tunesera_browse_countries], [tunesera_genres] and [tunesera_browse_languages], with a built-in shortcode builder.
  • Settings tools: Export, import and reset settings, with optional data cleanup on uninstall.

  • CSV field mapping: Import CSV files with any column names.
  • Featured and popular stations: Curated and most-played sections with shortcodes.
  • Local discovery: Open the directory on stations from the visitor’s country.
  • Listening analytics: Plays, listeners, listening time and top stations, stored on your own site.
  • Advanced player: Extra player styles, popup player, sleep timer, default station and track artwork.
  • More design controls: Typography, spacing, buttons, page layouts and the [tunesera_player] and [tunesera_locations] shortcodes.

External services and privacy

TuneSera needs no account and sends no data to WPSera. Bundled stations, location data and assets ship with the plugin.

  • Station streams and logos: When a station plays or its logo is shown, the visitor’s browser connects to that station’s host, which receives the visitor’s IP address and browser headers. Each host has its own terms.
  • WorldRadio.Online: Bundled station logos load from worldradio.online. You can replace them with your own images. Terms · Privacy
  • Now-playing metadata: When enabled (the default), your server requests track info from the station’s stream host, sending the stream path, plugin version and site URL. Visitor IPs are not sent. Turn it off under Settings > Metadata.
  • Zeno: For Zeno stations, your server requests metadata from api.zeno.fm when metadata is enabled. Terms · Privacy
  • Sharing: WhatsApp, Facebook and X are contacted only when a visitor clicks a share link, receiving the station URL and title. WhatsApp · Facebook · X
  • YouTube: The TuneSera dashboard embeds the intro video from youtube-nocookie.com only after an administrator clicks “Watch the quick tour”. Nothing loads from YouTube before that, and visitors are never affected. Terms · Privacy
  • Storage: Uploaded CSV files are kept privately for up to 30 days. The directory stores preferences in local storage and a 30-day first-party cookie (tunesera_listing_initial), never for tracking.

FAQ

How do I show the directory?

Pick a page in the setup wizard, or add [tunesera_directory] to any page.

Where do the stations come from?

Import the bundled directory (1,186 stations, 30 countries), upload a CSV file, or add stations by hand. The bundled directory ships with the plugin, so importing it calls no outside API.

Can I import my own CSV file?

Yes. Download the sample CSV from TuneSera > Import Stations and use its column names. Station name, stream URL and country code are required.

Will re-importing create duplicates?

No. Stations are matched by source ID. Existing stations are kept unless you choose to update them.

Why won’t a station play?

The stream may be offline, use a format the browser can’t play, or block outside access. HTTPS sites may also block HTTP streams. Use the stream tester in the station editor to check a stream.

Why is there no song title?

Song titles only appear when the station’s stream sends metadata. You can turn metadata off under TuneSera > Settings > Metadata.

Do I need TuneSera Pro?

No. All features in the main list work without Pro.

Does deleting the plugin remove my stations?

Only if you turn on the uninstall cleanup option under TuneSera > Settings > Advanced first. Deactivating never removes data.
