Description
Trunkrs Same-Day Delivery v2 connects your store to the Trunkrs Shipping Portal. Your customers see live Trunkrs delivery options at checkout, orders are announced to Trunkrs automatically, and you print labels straight from the WooCommerce admin.
This is the second generation of the Trunkrs plugin, rebuilt from the ground up. It is a separate plugin from the original “Trunkrs for WooCommerce”, which remains available. See the FAQ on how to switch.
Main features
- One-click connection with your Trunkrs account, no API keys to copy.
- Live shipping rates at checkout, based on cart value, country and postal code, straight from your Trunkrs pricing.
- Delivery date picker with available timeslots, for both the classic and the block-based checkout.
- Automatic announcements: orders are announced to Trunkrs when they are placed or reach a paid status. Cancelling or restoring an order is handled for you.
- Labels: print PDF labels per order, or in bulk as one PDF from the order list.
- Live shipment status: Trunkrs pushes shipment updates to your store, shown as a status badge in the order list and optionally mapped to WooCommerce order statuses.
- Track & Trace links in order emails and in the customer’s My Account page.
- Order routing rules: announce only the orders that match your conditions, such as country, cart value, product category or order status.
- Service levels for same-day delivery, fresh food and frozen food, limited to what your Trunkrs plan includes. Set them per product or per category; a mixed order ships under the strictest level any of its products needs.
- Compatible with HPOS, WooCommerce Subscriptions, WooCommerce Shipment Tracking, and the Order Delivery Date (Tyche) and YITH delivery date plugins.

- WordPress 6.5 or higher and WooCommerce 9.0 or higher.

Source code and build
This plugin is developed and maintained by Trunkrs B.V.
The JavaScript and CSS in the build/ folder are compiled from the human-readable TypeScript, React and SCSS source in the assets/ folder, which ships with the plugin together with the build configuration (package.json, yarn.lock, webpack.config.js, tsconfig.json, tsconfig.base.json).
To rebuild the compiled files:
- Install Node.js 20 and Yarn 1.
- Run
yarn install --frozen-lockfilein the plugin folder. - Run
yarn build. This runs@wordpress/scripts(webpack) and writesbuild/admin.js,build/checkout.jsand their stylesheets.
Third-party libraries bundled in build/admin.js and build/checkout.js, all installed from npm with the versions pinned in yarn.lock: auth0-js (MIT), Formik (Apache-2.0), Yup (MIT), Axios (MIT) and clsx (MIT). The embedded captcha module of auth0-js is replaced by a stub at build time (assets/shared/auth0-captcha-stub.js), so the plugin never loads captcha scripts from third-party servers.
External services
This plugin connects to services operated by Trunkrs to provide delivery. It does not work without a Trunkrs account.
- Trunkrs Shipping Portal (shipping.trunkrs.app, portal.trunkrs.app): used to connect your store, fetch shipping rates at checkout and receive settings updates. Sent: the cart value, destination country and postal code when rates are requested, and your store’s hostname when connecting.
- Trunkrs API (api.trunkrs.nl): used to announce and cancel shipments, fetch delivery timeslots, check service areas, download labels and register webhooks. Sent when an order is announced: the recipient’s name, company name, address, email address and phone number, the order reference, the product names, quantities and weight, and the customer’s order note.
- Trunkrs login (trunkrs.eu.auth0.com, provided by Auth0 by Okta): used only when you click “Connect with Trunkrs” to log in to your Trunkrs account. Sent: your login credentials, directly to the login page.
- Trunkrs Track & Trace (parcel.trunkrs.nl): only linked to from emails and My Account when you enable Track & Trace links. No data is sent by the plugin.

Installation
- In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins > Add New, search for “Trunkrs Same-Day Delivery” and click Install Now, then Activate.
- Go to WooCommerce > Trunkrs and click Connect with Trunkrs.
- Log in with your Trunkrs account. The plugin retrieves your integration details, service level and plan automatically.
- Add the Trunkrs shipping method to your shipping zone under WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping.

What do I need to get started?

I use the original “Trunkrs for WooCommerce” plugin. Do I need to switch?

No. The original plugin keeps working and you can stay on it. Switch when you want the new features.

How do I switch from the original plugin?

Deactivate “Trunkrs for WooCommerce” first, then install and activate this plugin and connect your Trunkrs account again. Both plugins cannot run at the same time: while the original plugin is active, this plugin pauses itself and shows a notice. Your existing orders and shipping zones stay intact.

I installed a pre-release v2 ZIP. How do I move to this version?

Deactivate and delete the old ZIP version first, then install this plugin. If you upload this version over the old one instead, WordPress deactivates the plugin because its main file was renamed: simply activate it again.

What happens when I delete the plugin?

Its settings, cached data and log table are removed, and its webhooks are unregistered at Trunkrs. Order data and shipment details on your orders are kept. If the original “Trunkrs for WooCommerce” plugin is still installed, the shared settings are kept so that plugin keeps working.

Why is the Trunkrs shipping option not showing at checkout?

Check that the plugin is connected (WooCommerce > Trunkrs), that the customer’s postal code is in the Trunkrs service area, and that the Trunkrs shipping method is added to the shipping zone.

Can I use my own delivery date plugin?

Yes. Turn off the built-in picker in the plugin settings. Delivery dates from the Order Delivery Date (Tyche) and YITH plugins are picked up automatically. Developers can also supply a date with the
trunkrs_delivery_datefilter. -
How do I print labels in bulk?

Select the orders in WooCommerce > Orders, open Bulk actions and choose the Trunkrs labels action. A single PDF with all labels opens.

What happens when an order is cancelled?

The Trunkrs shipment is cancelled automatically. If the order is restored from the trash, the shipment is announced again.
