Super useful

Although I wouldnt do any major work on a live system on a live plugin or theme, for quicky minor changes, this is SUPER useful

CAUTION – Created an almost undeleteable directory on my server

I used the plugin to create a directory on my server, in my child theme’s folder. It created the folder with no issues BUT when I tried to delete it via the theme editor interface, it wouldn’t do so. So I checked through FTP and it also wouldn’t delete there either. It had created the directory with the permissions of 01341. I couldn’t change the permissions and I couldn’t delete the file. Even disabling the folder didn’t work. I eventually had to contact hosting support and they needed to delete it via SSH in order for the deletion to stick. DO NOT USE THIS PLUGIN.

Update – In the interest of fairness, due to the authors reply, I am updating my review to be slightly less alarmist. I do still think this plugin was the culprit and there is no way in heck I would try it on another server BUT there is a chance it might have been some weird glitch on my server’s side (though I’ve never seen something like this in the 8 years I’ve been developing with WordPress). So, don’t necessarily take my word for it. Most likely, if the author is being honest, you’ll be fine with this plugin. BUT, if you find that the files created by it won’t delete, I posted the fix above.
