Description
Let people say thanks with a tip.
TDFE Tips & Donations for EDD adds a new Donate product type to Easy Digital Downloads. Pick it, and that download becomes a tip jar. Visitors choose an amount, hit the button, and check out as usual.
Think “buy me a coffee” for your digital products. No extra payment gateway. No new checkout. Just EDD, doing what it already does well.
Why you’ll like it
- Simple. Choose the Donate product type. That’s the setup.
- Flexible. Quick-select amount buttons plus an optional custom amount field.
- Safe. Set a minimum and a maximum so tips always make sense.
- Yours. Change every label, the button text and the placeholder.
- Native. Works with the normal EDD cart and checkout.
Perfect for
- Creators who want optional tips for free downloads
- Open source authors looking for support
- Pay-what-you-want plugins, themes, ebooks and assets

Upgrading to Pro

- The free plugin pauses itself while Pro is active. You can then delete it.
The free plugin never contacts any server and has no license or account system.
