Description
SudsQuote turns your WordPress site into a quoting tool for your cleaning business. Visitors answer a few questions (property type, bedrooms, bathrooms, extras) and see an instant estimate. When they request a quote, their details arrive in your dashboard and your inbox.
Everything in this plugin is free and fully functional. There are no locked features, licence keys or usage limits.
What you can do
- Instant price calculators – multi-step, mobile-friendly calculators for domestic, deep and end-of-tenancy cleaning, or build your own.
- Flexible pricing – base price, per bedroom, per bathroom, per square metre or hourly pricing, fixed or percentage extras, minimum booking price and VAT.
- Conditional logic – show questions and adjust prices based on earlier answers.
- Lead inbox – every quote request is saved with the full price breakdown. Filter, search, add notes, change status and export to CSV.
- Customers & quotes – turn a lead into an itemised quote, email it, and let the customer accept or decline online.
- WhatsApp follow-up – one-click “Chat on WhatsApp” links for each lead.
- Simple analytics – views, estimates and leads for each calculator.
- Built-in spam protection – honeypot, timing check and rate limiting, with no CAPTCHA service needed.
- Privacy tools – consent checkbox, and support for WordPress personal data export and erasure.
- Block and shortcode – add a calculator with the “SudsQuote Calculator” block or
[sudsquote id="1"].
Quick setup
After activation, a short setup wizard asks for your business name, lead email and currency, lets you pick a starter calculator, and can create a draft “Get a Quote” page for you.
External services
SudsQuote does not connect to any external service by itself.
WhatsApp links: on the Leads screens, SudsQuote can show a “Chat on WhatsApp” link that points to https://wa.me/ with the lead’s phone number and a pre-filled message. Nothing is sent to WhatsApp unless an administrator clicks the link, which opens WhatsApp in their browser. WhatsApp is provided by WhatsApp LLC / Meta: Terms of Service, Privacy Policy.
Source code
All JavaScript and CSS in this plugin is shipped as human-readable source. There is no build step and no minified or compiled code. The block editor script is blocks/index.js.

Installation
- In your WordPress admin go to Plugins Add New, search for “SudsQuote” and click Install, then Activate. (Or upload the ZIP under Plugins Add New Upload Plugin.)
- The setup wizard opens automatically. Enter your business details and choose a starter calculator.
- Review the prices under SudsQuote Calculators.
- Publish the quote page the wizard created, or add the “SudsQuote Calculator” block or the
[sudsquote id="1"]shortcode to any page. - Submit a test quote to see how leads arrive.

Yes. All features in this plugin work without a licence, account or payment.

- Fix: the calculator no longer shows a “Please complete the required field” error before the visitor has answered, and old error messages clear once the price updates.
- Fix: required questions are now checked on every step with a clear message under the question (previously conditional rules could silently remove the “required” setting).

- Fix: “Show field” rules now keep the field hidden until the rule matches, and answers to hidden questions no longer change the price.

- New: “Price per answer option” pricing — set a price or percentage on each option (value|Label|25 or value|Label|10%).
- New: Pricing step can switch the main pricing method (rooms, square metres, hourly or base fee only) and edit condition, property type, frequency and extras prices.
- Improved: Office, Airbnb, Carpet, Window and Garden templates now price every question.
