Getting started

A fresh installation does not include sample customer services or pre-filled branches. Configure your business information and services before accepting bookings.

  1. Settings & Branding — configure the business name, currency, sender details, and physical-location information.
  2. Booking Setup — use Create / Repair Booking Pages to create the required pages and shortcodes.
  3. Services — create physical services and configure their capacity.
  4. Schedule & Availability — configure working days, hours, breaks, booking windows, and vacation periods.
  5. Customer form and messages — review the booking fields and confirmation templates.
  6. Final check — submit a test booking and verify the booking record, email, and customer-facing page.

Shortcodes

  • [ssgdlabs_booking] — displays the customer-facing booking form.
  • [ssgdlabs_visit_info] — displays physical-visit information configured by the site owner.

Booking confirmation emails

Physical-service bookings use the editable confirmation template in Settings > Messages. Confirmation emails can include the confirmation number, selected branch, address, visitor instructions, and Maps link.

Privacy and data responsibility

The plugin stores its configuration, bookings, and customer records in the WordPress database. Supported uploads are stored in the site’s uploads directory. Ordinary plugin booking records are not maintained in a separate SSGDLabs-hosted database.

Booking forms may collect personal information. Site owners are responsible for providing an appropriate privacy notice, establishing a suitable data-retention policy, and handling collected information in accordance with applicable requirements.

See External services below for information about third-party data processing.

External services

Freemius

The Freemius SDK supports account connection, product-related operations, and update-related functionality. When these operations run, the site communicates with Freemius.

Depending on the enabled features and permissions selected by the administrator, information processed by Freemius may include basic profile information, website and product information, and information about installed plugins and themes. Review the SDK’s consent and permission options when connecting an account.

Google Maps

The plugin can generate Google Maps links for physical locations configured by the site owner. When a visitor follows a Maps link, the visitor’s browser connects to Google Maps, where Google handles the request and processes information according to its policies.

Source code

The public JavaScript source repository for the WordPress.org Free package is:

https://github.com/SSGDLabs/ssgdlabs-suite-free-js-source

Readable JavaScript source files are included in assets/js/src/ in the plugin package. The repository contains the corresponding source files and distributed Free runtime assets.

Source-to-runtime mappings:

  • assets/js/src/ssgdlabs-free-core.js assets/js/ssgdlabs-free-core.js
  • assets/js/src/ssgdlabs-free-inline-ui.js assets/js/ssgdlabs-free-inline-ui.js

The inline UI runtime is distributed in readable form and corresponds to its source file. The core runtime is the compact distributed counterpart of its readable source.

When changing either file, update its corresponding runtime asset and keep the source and runtime copies synchronized with the public repository.

This repository covers the WordPress.org Free JavaScript assets. It is not a standalone plugin package and does not contain the Starter, Pro, or Teams implementation code.
