This plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.



The Spam Viewer allows you to delete or rescue any comments marked as Spam out of your database. All comments marked as Spam in the WordPress table comments is listed below and from the plugin Trackback Validator in the table wp_data.

This plugin is no longer maintained. It is actively tested up to version 2.1.3. After this version include WordPress in the core a functionality to list and delete Spam-comments.

The plugin comes with various translations, please refer to the WordPress Codex for more information about activating the translation. If you want to help to translate the plugin to your language, please have a look at the sitemap.pot file which contains all defintions and may be used with a gettext editor like Poedit (Windows).

  1. Unpack the download-package
  2. Upload all files to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory, without folder
  3. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  4. Got to ‘Options’ menu and configure the plugin
