In the editor, the “Get title and thumbnail” option asks your own site’s oEmbed proxy, which contacts YouTube or Vimeo. Visitors’ IP address and browser user agent are sent to these services when a video or thumbnail loads. The GutSlider dashboard also shows a GutSlider video from https://www.youtube-nocookie.com; nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play.
