Sitio Si Transferencia Verificada Argentina Lite gives you a faster way to handle that workflow directly from WooCommerce.
Your customer receives clear transfer instructions and the exact amount to pay. When you want to verify an order, click “Verify now” and the plugin checks Mercado Pago through its API for a matching payment.
The verification itself is automated. In Lite, you decide when to run it.
Why store owners install it

How it works
- The customer chooses bank transfer at checkout.
- WooCommerce creates the order and shows the exact amount together with your bank details.
- If another pending order already uses the same total, the plugin can assign a unique cents-level amount to make the transfer easier to identify.
- The customer makes the transfer and can click “I already transferred”.
- From WordPress, open the order and click “Verify now”.
- The plugin checks Mercado Pago through its API for a payment matching that order.
- The verification result is shown directly in WordPress so you can confirm the order without searching through Mercado Pago manually.
The verification itself is automated. In Lite, you decide when to run it.
No background payment verification is performed automatically in the Lite edition.
Lite vs Pro
Transferencia Verificada Lite is designed for stores that want to stop checking transfers manually while keeping control over when each payment is verified.
With Lite, you click “Verify now” and the plugin checks Mercado Pago for you.
The Pro edition goes one step further: it also monitors payments and confirms matching orders automatically in the background, without requiring you to open each order and start the verification yourself.
Lite automates the check when you ask for it. Pro automates when the check happens too.
If one-click verification is enough for your workflow, Lite gives you everything you need to get started.
If you want the entire verification and confirmation process to happen automatically, the Pro edition adds that extra level of automation.
External services
This plugin connects to the Mercado Pago API (api.mercadopago.com) at two specific points, always started by you from the admin panel — never in the background or automatically:
- When saving your credentials (“Bank details and verification” in the plugin menu): a request is made to
/users/meto confirm the Access Token is valid before saving it, helping detect an invalid credential before it is stored. - When using the “Verify now” button: a one-off request checks Mercado Pago for a payment matching that order.
Your Access Token is sent as the authentication credential and, during verification, the order’s amount and date are used to look for a matching payment.
No data is shared with anyone other than the Mercado Pago API itself.
This plugin is not affiliated with Mercado Pago. All product names and trademarks mentioned belong to their respective owners.
Installation
- Upload the plugin folder to
/wp-content/plugins/, or install it directly from your WordPress plugin search. - Activate the plugin from the Plugins menu.
- Go to Transferencia Verificada in the wp-admin menu and enter your CBU, alias, account holder and CUIT.
- If you want to use the “Verify now” feature, also add your Mercado Pago Public Key and Access Token. The credentials are validated against the Mercado Pago API before being saved.
- Enable the payment method from WooCommerce Settings Payments Bank transfer.
- Your store is ready to accept bank transfers.

Does Lite verify transfers automatically?

The check itself is automatic, but in the Lite edition you decide when to run it.
Open the order and click “Verify now”. The plugin connects to Mercado Pago and checks for a payment matching that order, so you don’t have to open Mercado Pago and search through the payment history yourself.
Lite does not continuously monitor payments in the background.
The Pro edition adds automatic monitoring and confirmation of matching orders.

Do I still have to confirm each order?

Yes. In Lite, you decide when an order should be checked and confirmed.
If Mercado Pago is connected, use “Verify now” to let the plugin check for the matching payment first.
You can also use “Mark as paid” when you want to confirm an order manually.
If you want transfers to be monitored and matching orders confirmed automatically without opening each order, that functionality is available in the Pro edition.

Do I need a Mercado Pago account to use the plugin?

No.
You can use the bank transfer payment method, show your bank details and manage transfer orders without connecting Mercado Pago.
A Mercado Pago account is only required if you want to use the “Verify now” feature.
For that feature, you need to add your Mercado Pago Public Key and Access Token.

What does “Verify now” actually do?

When you click “Verify now”, the plugin connects to the Mercado Pago API and performs a one-off check for a payment matching that WooCommerce order.
The result is shown directly in WordPress so you can decide whether to confirm the order.
The plugin does not continuously monitor Mercado Pago in the background in the Lite edition.

Why does the plugin sometimes change the order amount by a few cents?

If two pending orders have the same total, it can be difficult to tell which transfer belongs to which order.
Transferencia Verificada can apply a small cents-level adjustment so the exact amount becomes easier to identify.
For example, instead of having two pending orders with exactly the same transfer amount, one of them can receive a slightly different amount.
The customer always sees the exact amount they need to transfer.

What happens after the customer clicks “I already transferred”?

The button tells the plugin that the customer says the transfer has already been made and gives the order additional time before automatic cancellation.
It does not by itself confirm that the payment exists.
You can then use “Verify now” to check Mercado Pago or confirm the order manually.

What happens if a customer never completes the transfer?

The order is cancelled automatically after the deadline you configure in the plugin settings.
This prevents unpaid transfer orders from remaining pending indefinitely.

Does it work in countries other than Argentina?

No.
This edition uses terminology and mechanisms specific to Argentina, including CBU/CVU and Mercado Pago Argentina.
It is not designed for stores in other countries.

Is Transferencia Verificada Lite free?

Yes.
The Lite edition can be used without a Pro license.
It includes the bank transfer payment method, unique-amount handling, customer waiting screen, transfer-order management and on-demand verification against Mercado Pago using the “Verify now” button.
The Pro edition adds fully automatic payment monitoring and confirmation, together with its additional Pro functionality.
