Description
Sitio Si MultiCuenta for Mercado Pago adds a payment method to your WooCommerce checkout that charges through Mercado Pago, automatically rotating between several accounts based on the criteria you choose. This plugin is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Mercado Pago.
In this Lite edition:
- Add as many Mercado Pago accounts as you want (your own credentials, or reuse an account already connected in another Sitio Si plugin).
- Choose between 2 rotation modes: Fixed account (every charge always goes to the same account until you change it manually) or By target (automatically rotates to the next account once an accumulated billing amount is reached).
- Dedicated panel showing the active mode’s status, a movement history per account, and shortcuts to edit or remove accounts.
- Compatible with the classic checkout and with WooCommerce’s Cart & Checkout Blocks.
Need calendar-based rotation, proportional distribution across accounts, product-category rules, one-click account connection, or a billing analytics dashboard? That’s the Pro edition of this same plugin — Lite is meant to let you start rotating charges between as many accounts as you want at no cost, and upgrade to Pro whenever you want the advanced modes.
External services
This plugin connects to the Mercado Pago API (api.mercadopago.com) at the following moments, always initiated by you from the admin panel — never in the background or automatically:
- When connecting an account: if you enter your own credentials, the Access Token is validated against the API before it’s saved. If you reuse an account already connected in another Sitio Si plugin (Transferencia Verificada, for example), no new call is made — the existing connection is reused.
- When processing a charge: when a customer pays at checkout, the plugin communicates with the Mercado Pago API to create the charge with the account whose turn it is to rotate, and receives notifications (webhooks) from Mercado Pago about that payment’s status.
The Access Token of the corresponding account (as an authentication credential) and the order data needed to create the charge (amount, currency, reference) are sent. No data is shared with anyone other than the Mercado Pago API itself.

Installation
- Upload the plugin folder to
/wp-content/plugins/, or install it directly from your WordPress plugin search. - Activate the plugin from the Plugins menu.
- Go to “Sitio Si MultiCuenta MP” in the wp-admin menu.
- Add your first Mercado Pago account (your own credentials, or reuse an account already connected in another Sitio Si plugin).
- Choose the rotation mode (Fixed account or By target) and add a second account if you want it to rotate between the two.
- Enable the payment method from WooCommerce Settings Payments MultiCuenta Mercado Pago, and you’re done.

What rotation modes are available?

Do I need to install the official Mercado Pago plugin for WooCommerce?

No. This plugin communicates directly with the Mercado Pago API, without depending on any other payment plugin.

What happens if I have the Pro edition active and also install Lite by mistake?

The Lite edition deactivates itself as soon as it detects Pro is active on the same site, to avoid any conflict — you don’t need to uninstall it manually.

Does it work in countries other than Argentina?

The plugin works with any valid Mercado Pago account (Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Uruguay). The admin panel’s source text is in English, ready to be translated into Spanish (and any other language) via translate.wordpress.org. The documentation is in Spanish.
