Shambix Growth Console

Description

Most SEO tools are too complex and too generic: you don’t know how to set up the reports, you can’t make sense of the numbers, nobody tells you what to do about them, and in the end you just give up.

Giving up means missing out on better rankings, more visitors, more customers and more sales.

With the Shambix Growth Console, we aim to give everyone a tool they can finally understand and put to use:

  • First it studies your website specifically: what you sell (services or products), your content, your business and much more.
  • Then it reads all your Google Analytics and Google Search Console data for you.
  • It looks at what people actually search for on Google, specifically for your kind of site.
  • It gives you an easy to understand summary: how things are going for your website, what is working and what isn’t.
  • It gives you an easy to follow action plan: a step by step of exactly what to do, how and where to improve things.
  • It can check things regularly for you and give you an updated summary, or you can get a fresh one only when you need it, with a single click.

It’s like having an SEO expert at your service 24/7, a complete game-changer.

What is free and what is not: the dashboard with your Google data, Refresh and keyword research are free to use. The AI part (learning your site, the summary, the action plan, custom advice and Ask) runs on prepaid Growth Cloud credits. You need a few credits once, so the AI can learn your site; after that you can keep using Refresh and Keywords for free, and spend credits only when you want advice.

See it in action:

What you get

  • It tells you which pages, posts and products are working and why, which ones aren’t, and what you should change exactly.
  • It knows if a change you made 2 weeks ago is actually bringing more people to your website.
  • It tells you how to attract your target customers better, and why your content is not converting or selling.
  • It gives you exact instructions on which content to change, why and how: current text next to the suggested text, ready to copy.
  • It shows you how you rank for the searches people actually type on Google, and the ones you are missing out on (and how to fix it).

… this and much more.

Features

  • Dashboard: Overview (key numbers, where things stand, recommended action plan), Search queries, Service pages or Product pages (by site kind), Keyword opportunities, Content, Tracking health and the full Action plan.
  • Action plan with concrete edits: current text suggested text, grouped by priority. Mark items Done or Ignore, export to CSV or print.
  • Keyword opportunities: what you already rank for, what you are missing, with filters and CSV export (Content and Striking distance tables export too; hub chart can export as JPG).
  • One-click Refresh: pulls Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4), sitemaps and an on-page audit. It runs in small resumable steps, so it works on cheap shared hosting too. No Python or Node needed.
  • Profiles: the AI learns your site once (Build with AI) before the first Refresh. Use separate profiles if, for example, your Blog and your Shop need different treatment.
  • Ask: ask the AI questions about your own data.
  • Automatic refresh: optional daily or weekly update of the default profile.
  • WooCommerce aware, light and dark theme, and a summary widget on the WordPress dashboard.
  • Google Trends (optional): add your own DataForSEO login in Settings if you want a trend column (billed on your DataForSEO account, not Growth Cloud). Everything else works without it.

Works on any WordPress site. When these are installed, profiling detects them automatically:

  • Shop: WooCommerce (including catalog-only setups)
  • Forms: WPForms, Contact Form 7, Gravity Forms
  • SEO: Yoast SEO, Rank Math
  • Builders / fields: Elementor, Advanced Custom Fields (ACF)

External services

This plugin may contact the following third-party services. By connecting an account or saving credentials in Settings you consent to those calls.

  • Google OAuth + Search Console API + Analytics Data API + Analytics Admin API — used when you click Connect with Google (or when an optional operator service-account hatch is configured). Purpose: pull Search Console and Analytics reports for the dashboard, Refresh, and AI digests. Data sent: OAuth tokens and report query parameters for your selected properties (site URLs, date ranges, dimensions). No visitor PII is intentionally included. The bundled Google OAuth client ID is an application identifier for the OAuth consent flow, not a remote script or stylesheet. Google: Terms · Privacy · API Services User Data Policy
  • Growth Cloud (Shambix) — when you save a site API key (sgc_…). Purpose: prepaid AI (profile / report / ask) and credit balance. Data sent: AI message payloads, digests of search/lead metrics on advice jobs; profile Build/Recheck sends site inventory + page fetches only. Growth Cloud may forward those AI jobs to Anthropic for completion. Credits are prepaid in the only official portal: https://growthcloud.shambix.com/ (register sites, API keys, and credit purchases there only). Credits or keys from any other portal or reseller will not be honored. Terms · Privacy
  • Anthropic Claude API — used by Growth Cloud to complete AI jobs for keyed sites (see Growth Cloud above). Separately, advanced / operator installs may supply an Anthropic API key via a WordPress filter so WordPress posts directly to Anthropic; normal Growth Cloud installs do not call Anthropic from WordPress. Consumer Terms · Privacy
  • DataForSEO — only if you paste DataForSEO login/password in Settings (optional Google Trends enrich on Refresh). Billed on your DataForSEO account. Data sent: keywords / locale for trend lookups. Terms · Privacy
  • Google and Bing public autocomplete endpoints — from your host IP during keyword research. The keyword being researched is sent. Google: Terms · Privacy. Bing: Terms · Privacy
  • YouTube — Help may embed an overview video from youtube-nocookie.com (and link to youtube.com). No account data is sent; the browser loads the embed. Terms · Privacy

Language flags shown in the dashboard are SVG files bundled inside this plugin (no CDN). Chart.js and dashboard CSS/JS are bundled locally under assets/.

FAQ

Do I need to know SEO to use it?

No. That is the whole point: the summary and the action plan are written in plain language, and every column has a “how to read this” help button.

Does it replace my SEO plugin (Yoast, Rank Math, …)?

No, it works next to it. Your SEO plugin is where you edit titles and descriptions; Growth Console tells you which ones to change, on which page, and what to write.

Is it free?

The plugin is free, and so is everything based on your Google data: the dashboard, Refresh and keyword research. The AI is paid with prepaid credits: learning your site (the profile), the summary, the action plan, custom advice and Ask.

One thing to know: the site profile is built by the AI, so you need a few credits once to get started. From then on Refresh and Keywords keep working for free, and you spend credits only when you want AI advice. Without credits you get the data, but no advice and no action plan.

How many credits do I need?

Example for a medium site (one language, or two if multilingual; several money pages, a blog and a contact page):

  • First profile: about 40–120 credits, once.
  • One full advice run: about 50–90 credits.
  • Ask a question: usually a few to a few dozen credits.

Which pack to start with:

  • 100 credits: enough to build your profile and, on a smaller site, try the advice.
  • 500 credits: your profile plus roughly 4 to 9 full advice runs.
  • 1000 credits: your profile plus roughly 10 to 19 runs, or a buffer for several sites and heavier research.

Packs start at €5 for 100 credits. Current prices are on https://growthcloud.shambix.com/

Where do I get a Growth Cloud API key / credits?

Only from the official Growth Cloud portal: https://growthcloud.shambix.com/ — create an account, add your WordPress site, copy the sgc_… key into Settings, and buy credits there. No other website is authorized to sell Growth Cloud credits or issue site API keys for this plugin. Credits or keys bought elsewhere will not be honored or credited. If you see another site claiming to sell them, treat it as fraudulent and report it to info@shambix.com.

Do I need Python or Node on the server?

No. Everything runs in PHP. AI uses Growth Cloud.

Is Google Trends required?

No. Keyword opportunities use autocomplete + your Search Console positions. Add DataForSEO credentials in Settings only if you want the trend column.

Does it work with WooCommerce?

Yes. Profiling inventories product categories (highest-count first, soft cap 200, skips Uncategorized junk; not every product). Shop profiles use category archives as money hubs. Ask AI can advise on a specific product page; use Watch this page under Ask to pin that URL for audits without making it a hub (profile stays ready).

Why is Refresh disabled?

The active profile must be ready (AI Build or Recheck completed). Open Profiles and finish profiling first.

Changelog

1.5.13

  • Profiles: KPI test exclusions (dated test leads/purchases) subtract from Overview and the WordPress dashboard widget; Advice digest includes the list. Soft save stays Ready and rebuilds the dashboard (no AI Recheck).
  • KPI exclusions: optional GA4 event names and page paths; edit in Profiles; Tracking − on an outcome row (event + page + day) adds an exclusion. Count shows raw (−excluded) · net; − disables at 0. Overview reloads after save.
  • Settings: GA4 lead and purchase outcome event names are discovered on Refresh into editable lists (exact match for Overview KPIs and Tracking −).
  • Tracking: one GA4 events table (90 days) with Custom for non-standard names; Channels beside it with referral spam underneath.
  • Referral spam: Done/Ignored stamps spam hosts so acknowledgment survives AI plan regen and non-English task text.

1.5.12

  • WordPress.org prefix: internal names use shamgrco / SHAMGRCO_ (4+ characters). Growth Cloud API keys still start with sgc_. Admin page slugs are shamgrco-*.
  • DataForSEO password is stored without sanitize_text_field (avoids altering valid password characters).
  • Brand header Tips & Issues and Credits menus open toward the side with more room on small screens.
  • Help and product overview video updated.
  • Logs: Jobs channel records Refresh / profile / AI start failures and stops (not only outbound Google and AI API calls).
  • Automatic refresh: catch up when an admin opens wp-admin if the scheduled run was missed (once per period); Settings shows a WP-Cron enabled/disabled badge (server cron is optional).
  • Growth Cloud: checks site binding before AI, re-binds on a separate step if attest mismatches (avoids shared-host deadlock), retries AI automatically; scheduled refresh falls back to data-only if Cloud preflight fails; HTML 503 pages are summarized instead of dumping page source.

1.5.9

  • WordPress.org review hardening: enqueue Get Credits menu script; dashboard CSS/JS as local asset files; sanitize Watch path, profile flash JSON, hubs/modifiers/model strings on every model write (including import); require OpenSSL for secret encryption (no Base64 fallback); Chart.js 4.5.1; local language-flag SVGs (no CDN); admin menu position lowered; Help and External services disclosure expanded (Google, Growth Cloud, Anthropic, DataForSEO, autocomplete, YouTube); portal Privacy processor links + Terms Resend note; translation .po/.mo excluded from the distribution zip (translate.wordpress.org).

1.5.8

  • Profiles: Owner constraints (standing AI rules on every Advice run). Soft save: stays ready, no Recheck.
  • Keywords: Local filter uses your Geo regex. Opportunity scoring prefers hire/agency queries; striking distance needs real demand. Digest and CSV include GSC clicks.
  • Help: Credits & prices table; Privacy and Terms open on the Growth Cloud portal. Compatible with list for detected plugins and content types.
  • Dashboard: larger KPI change text; Overview weekly charts use week numbers with hover date ranges; sparklines on buyer-intent and money-page KPIs (after Refresh).
  • Jobs: expected time from your last successful Refresh / AI run (shown on the progress bar).
  • WordPress dashboard widget: hover tip on the clicks / impressions trend chart.

1.5.7

  • Dashboard: Export CSV on Content and Striking distance; Export JPG on Weekly impressions by hub. Filenames include the profile name.
  • Settings: searchable Advice language list (Claude multilingual set). DataForSEO signup link uses the affiliate URL.
  • Hub / keyword language pills follow the site’s real languages (WPML, Polylang, or locale), not a hard-coded English assumption.
  • Search Console pulls use finalized days only so weekly charts do not dip on incomplete fresh data.
  • Profiles: AI Build/Recheck success banner stays until you dismiss it (survives “hide admin notices” plugins).
  • Refresh: full keyword research only when older than Settings Keyword research days, or when + keywords is ticked (seed edits no longer auto-force). Checkbox label is + keywords.
  • Dashboard: language badges show a country flag (UK for English); Service/Product page URL rows show clicks when present; more Italian chrome polish.

1.5.6

  • Translations: WordPress admin UI and dashboard chrome follow your site locale (Italian included). Advice language in Settings still controls AI text only.
  • Profiles: clearer field help (what a money hub is, site kind, catalog mode, regexes). After Save or AI Build/Recheck, a success banner stays on the edit page (with AI summary and updated sections) until you dismiss it.
  • Profiles / AI: shop vs services drives money hubs and dashboard labels. Woo catalog mode (products, no cart) uses Shop + catalog so category hubs stay and KPIs stay leads (missing purchases are not a tracking bug). Ask never rewrites the profile (optional Watch this page pins a URL to Pages to audit).
  • Settings: Growth Cloud status is one line with Buy credits; clearer CTA when no API key is set.
  • Overview Since baseline: uses the Growth Console Activated install milestone; stays hidden until At a glance’s last-28 window is fully after install (about a month of GSC data).
  • Get started wizard: hide empty Data/Analysis meta and dashboard buttons until the first pull; step 4 includes + AI (on by default). Step 2 can paste/save the Growth Cloud API key without leaving the Dashboard.
  • “AI updated the site model” only appears when hub paths or audit pages actually changed; cleared after Refresh.
  • Settings: number format for dashboard figures (1.234,5 or 1,234.5; comma decimals by default).

1.5.5

  • Google: Connect with Google in Settings (site-wide OAuth). Pick host-matching Search Console and GA4 properties. Service-account JSON paste removed.
  • After upgrading from SA paste: open Settings Connect with Google again (tokens are not migrated).
  • Help: overview video; Connect/reauth guidance. Product home: https://growthcloud.shambix.com/app
  • Overview Since baseline: compares this past 28 days to the 28 days before the Change to evaluate date (Search Console daily data), not the rolling prior on At a glance. Hidden until the numbers differ.
  • Dashboard “Analysis: … ago” uses the site timezone (and last successful AI save), so Regenerate no longer looks hours stale on UTC+N sites.
  • Action plan: AI uses live/scheduled/draft path status from WordPress so draft URLs are not treated as money-page targets; prefer copy/heading/FAQ before title rewrites. Old draft-path rows clear on Regenerate.
  • Action plan: grouped by priority (Do this first Nice to have) with a category filter; Export CSV / Print honour status and category. AI gets same-site content links from page fetches (header/footer chrome on the homepage inventory only).
  • Action plan: View (chain) and Edit (pen) icons next to page paths open the live URL or WP editor in a new tab (Edit only when the path resolves to an editable post).
  • Google: wizard/Settings OAuth returns to the same page; auto-bind + Test; no-match empty state and Refresh properties; Trends under Google Connect; Settings Cloud/Google status banners.
  • Profiles: SITE INVENTORY lists published + scheduled posts only. Dashboard notice when published content drifts (AI Recheck); profile stays ready so Refresh still works.
  • Brand header Tips/Issues and account menus close when you click the dashboard (iframe) or elsewhere in admin.
  • WP admin dashboard widget: Last 28 days vs prior 28, KPI % changes, and a clicks/impressions trend chart.

1.5.4

  • Overview Recommended Action Plan: pale green panel; up to six open Action plan tasks by impact (Done stickies cannot crowd them out); ignored items stay hidden; Done/Ignore sync with other tabs.
  • Content tab: All pages table title, help, and filters on one row.
  • Help: what happens to credits and results if AI stops mid-run (Regenerate is a full new analysis, not a resume).

1.5.3

  • Profiles: Site kind (services / shop) and optional Woo catalog mode adapt At a glance labels and outcome KPI (leads vs purchases) plus AI advice scenarios.
  • Overview: five fixed KPIs (dropped Real sessions); per-KPI help; credit balance updates after AI use.
  • Keywords: shorter intro, split help; Recommended Action Plan panel uses a pale green surface; striking-distance filters sit on the title row.
  • Admin menu: Dashboard Profiles Settings Help Logs Get Credits (opens the portal in a new tab).
  • Help: credit packs 100 / 500 / 1000.

1.5.2

  • Overview KPIs: sessions and leads use the same last-28 vs prior-28 window as Search Console (after Refresh); card subtitles removed.
  • Since baseline: compares this past 28 days to the 28 days before activation (fixed reference).
  • Referral spam: marking the Action plan item Done or Ignored hides historical spam from Overview, Tracking, and AI context (old GA rows cannot be deleted).
  • redo keywords checkbox only when Keyword research is enabled in Settings (on by default).
  • Action plan: Done / Undo buttons (Ignore unchanged); Done and Ignore survive AI regenerate; effort/time chips removed.
  • Overview: shorter AI summary, full-width text, verdict ordered Opportunity Critical Watch Note; since-baseline KPI strip.
  • First Refresh seeds Change to evaluate + “Growth Console Activated” milestone and a thin KPI baseline per profile.
  • Logs: Activity column/filter (refresh, profiling, analyzing, …); WP admin dashboard widget with Overview KPIs.
  • Official Growth Cloud portal: https://growthcloud.shambix.com/ (Get Credits in Plugins quick links and the admin menu).
  • Optional Google Trends via your own DataForSEO credentials in Settings (not Growth Cloud credits).
  • Growth Cloud status UI: balance refresh after Test / key rotate.
  • Step time budget auto-caps to host PHP max_execution_time when known.
  • Dashboard: milestone label stagger, help modals stay in view, striking-distance help.

1.5.0

  • Growth Cloud AI: one site key unlocks profile / advice / Ask with prepaid credits.
  • Settings Test Cloud account balance; buy credits in the Growth Cloud portal.

1.4.0

  • Light/dark theme; actionable keywords (ranking filter, Recommended Action Plan panel, CSV export); per-tab help modals.
  • AI Regenerate hardened against malformed verdict/plan payloads; publish steps show in the job log.

1.3.0

  • Overview-first layout (KPIs Where things stand Recommended Action Plan); AI advice tab removed — plan is the single action list.
  • Action plan concrete edits (kind, page, currentsuggested, drafts, evidence).

1.2.0

  • Profiles submenu owns the site model; AI Build/Recheck required before Refresh.
  • Settings holds connections plus GA4 outcome event lists (property-scoped); import/duplicate need AI recheck; waiting_user pause for profiling questions.
  • Plan/AI stored per profile (schema 2 dual-read leftovers; no separate cutover UI).
  • Logs page: AI / GSC / GA4 / Cloud / Site HTTP (profiling fetches) with detail modal, CSV export, 30-day prune.
  • AI profiling uses a site inventory (menus, pages, homepage snapshot) so Build needs little manual context.
  • Keyword cache: default 30 days (min 14); age by researched_at (not rematch writes); seed/modifier fingerprint re-runs autocomplete; GSC positions rematch every Refresh.

1.1.x

  • Initial self-hosted PHP dashboard with AI advisor and resumable jobs.
