This plugin connects to the following third-party services:

SEOBot AI API (seobot-api.domnam.workers.dev)
All AI-powered features (content generation, analysis, scoring, keyword suggestions, image generation, and backlink exchange) are processed through the SEOBot AI API server. When you activate the plugin, your site URL, site name, and admin email are sent to register your site and obtain an API key. Post content, titles, and metadata are sent for AI analysis and generation.

Google APIs (googleapis.com)
When you connect Google Search Console or Google Ads for keyword research, the plugin communicates with Google APIs using your OAuth credentials. Search performance data (queries, clicks, impressions, positions) is retrieved and displayed in your dashboard.

Installation

From your WordPress Dashboard:

  1. Go to Plugins Add New
  2. Search for SEOBot AI
  3. Click Install Now, then Activate
  4. Navigate to SEOBot AI Setup Wizard to configure the plugin

Manual Installation:

  1. Download the plugin ZIP file
  2. Go to Plugins Add New Upload Plugin
  3. Choose the ZIP file and click Install Now
  4. Activate the plugin and run the Setup Wizard

After Activation:

  1. The plugin automatically registers with the SEOBot AI API and obtains an API key
  2. Run the Setup Wizard to configure the plugin for your site
  3. Optionally add Google Ads credentials for keyword research
  4. Optionally connect Google Search Console for search analytics
  5. Start analyzing your content from the Dashboard

FAQ

Do I need an OpenAI API key?

No. SEOBot AI handles all AI processing through its own API server (seobot-api.domnam.workers.dev). When you activate the plugin, it automatically registers your site and obtains an API key. You don’t need to create or manage any external API keys yourself.

How much does the AI cost?

All AI features are included in the plugin. Free-tier users get a generous daily allowance. Premium plans offer higher limits for larger sites and agencies. See the Upgrade page inside the plugin for details.

Does this plugin replace Yoast SEO or Rank Math?

No — SEOBot AI complements your existing SEO plugin. Yoast/Rank Math handle on-page meta tags and sitemaps. SEOBot AI handles the heavy lifting: AI content creation, internal linking automation, keyword research, E-E-A-T optimization, and taxonomy auditing.

Will it break my existing content?

Never. SEOBot AI automatically creates a backup before modifying any post. You can review every change in the side-by-side diff viewer and restore any previous version with one click.

What is the E-E-A-T Scorer?

E-E-A-T stands for Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness — Google’s quality guidelines for ranking content. The E-E-A-T Scorer evaluates your posts against these criteria and gives you specific recommendations to improve.

What is the Categories Optimizer?

It audits your entire category taxonomy and uses AI to recommend which categories to keep, delete, or merge. It also generates SEO-optimized descriptions, identifies empty/thin categories, and scores each category for SEO health.

What is the Users / Author Optimizer?

It scans every WordPress user profile and identifies SEO issues — missing bios, short descriptions, display names that match usernames, no avatar, inactive accounts. AI then generates optimized author bios that improve E-E-A-T signals.

Can I connect Google Search Console?

Yes! Go to Settings Google Search Console and follow the setup guide to connect via OAuth 2.0. Once connected, you can view search performance data and discover keyword opportunities directly in WordPress.

Is the Backlink Exchange safe?

The Backlink Exchange is completely opt-in. You control which niches you accept links from, whether links are DoFollow or NoFollow, and you can exclude competitor domains. All placed links use AI for contextual integration, and you can remove all exchange links instantly by opting out.

Does it work with WooCommerce?

Yes. SEOBot AI works with WooCommerce product posts, categories, and pages just like regular WordPress content.

Can I use it on multiple sites?

Yes, the plugin can be installed on as many WordPress sites as you need. Each site is automatically registered with the SEOBot AI API and receives its own API key.

How do I get keyword research data?

Keyword data is powered by the Google Ads Keyword Planner API. Set up a Google Ads account, create API credentials in the Google Cloud Console, add them in Settings, and keyword metrics (search volume, CPC, competition) will appear throughout the plugin.

What happens if I deactivate the plugin?

Your content remains unchanged. All backup data, logs, and settings are preserved. If you uninstall (delete) the plugin, you’ll be prompted to clean up all plugin data from the database.

Is the plugin GDPR compliant?

SEOBot AI sends post content to the SEOBot AI API server (seobot-api.domnam.workers.dev) for AI processing. No personal visitor data is collected or transmitted. See the External Services section above and our Privacy Policy for full compliance details.

How often is SEOBot AI updated?

We release updates regularly with new features, bug fixes, and compatibility improvements. The plugin is actively maintained and tested with the latest WordPress releases.
