Description
SEO Robots Connector connects your WordPress site to the SEO Robots online
service. AI-assisted content generation and planning run in the service. This
plugin provides the authorized content catalog and receives drafts, publication
requests, SEO metadata and selected images from that service.
An SEO Robots account is required. Service use may require a paid subscription;
the connector itself is free. Review generated content before publishing. The
service does not guarantee search rankings or traffic.
Connecting requests catalog access, draft creation and publishing together.
The site administrator starts the connection and the SEO Robots account holder
approves it. The publish scope is enforced separately by the publication API;
it is included in the standard connection request.

The service generates and plans AI-assisted content and coordinates authorized
catalog reads, drafts and publications. The connector communicates as follows:
- Connection starts only after the administrator chooses Connect or obtains an
authorization link. It sends the installation ID, site/REST/callback URLs,
language, WordPress/plugin versions, requested scopes and authorization
protocol data, including the PKCE challenge. The subsequent authorization
exchanges establish the credentials used for the approved connection. - Once connected, the service can read IDs, types, titles, URLs, slugs, statuses
and dates for posts and pages, including drafts, pending, private and scheduled
items. The catalog does not return the full body of existing posts or pages. - After connection, content changes trigger signed notifications containing
identifiers and timestamps so the service can refresh the catalog. These
notifications contain no titles, post bodies or URLs. - Draft/publication requests send text, SEO metadata and selected image details
from the service to WordPress. Responses contain the result and resource IDs
and URLs. Publishing requires the approved publish scope.
This describes connector traffic, not all data processed by the online service.

Pexels images
When a draft or publication request includes Pexels images, the WordPress server
downloads them from https://images.pexels.com. Pexels receives the server IP
address, requested image URL and standard HTTP headers. The plugin does not send
the WordPress content catalog or post text to Pexels. No Pexels request is made
just by activating the plugin or viewing its settings.

FAQ
-
Where does AI content generation happen?
-
In the SEO Robots service. The plugin does not run an AI model in WordPress.
-
The plugin creates a technical author with a localized editorial display name.
Its role has read access only; authenticated connector endpoints enforce the
approved scopes. Site administrators can change the displayed author name under
Settings > SEO Robots in WordPress. The connected service can read this name. -
What happens when I disconnect, deactivate or uninstall?
-
Disconnect revokes connector access and stops change notifications. Deactivation
keeps the configuration for reactivation. Uninstall removes plugin configuration
and the publication ledger and revokes the technical author’s capabilities;
it preserves the author record and existing posts and media. -
Can I replace an existing private release?
-
Do not uninstall to change the update source: uninstall removes connection data
and the ledger. Migration of existing private installations is a separate task.
