Description
Senderz is email, SMS and web-push marketing for Israeli merchants. This plugin
connects your WordPress site to your Senderz workspace. Once connected it renders
your published popups, capture forms and games on the site, and serves the
same-origin service worker browser push requires.
It can also turn submissions from the form plugin you already use into Senderz
contacts. Contact Form 7, WPForms, Gravity Forms, Elementor Pro Forms, Fluent
Forms, Formidable Forms and Ninja Forms are supported. You pick which forms are
captured and which field holds the email address, phone number and name, so no
form sends anything until you set it up.
It can sync the people who have an account on your site. Accounts arrive in
Senderz as contacts who are not subscribed to anything. Creating an account is
not marketing consent, so only a person who ticks the opt-in checkbox you can add
to the registration form is ever subscribed.
When WooCommerce is active it can add an unticked marketing opt-in checkbox at
checkout and attach the exact pay-for-order recovery link to outgoing order
webhooks. Checkout consent fields, identified cart activity and back-in-stock
requests are disabled until a site administrator enables them in Senderz.
This plugin replaces Senderz for WooCommerce. Upgrading carries your settings over
and deactivates the old plugin automatically.
Service disclosure
This plugin is a client for Senderz, a hosted service at https://senderz.app.
It requires a Senderz account.
Nothing is sent to Senderz until you connect the site. On a fresh install the
plugin makes no outbound request of any kind: no storefront script, no tracking
beacon, no version ping.
Once you connect, the following leaves your site:
- Your site address, sent once at connect so Senderz can identify the site.
- Visitors’ browsers load the Senderz storefront script from api.senderz.app to
render your published popups and handle push opt-in. - Push subscription details, when a visitor opts in to browser notifications.
- For each form you switch on under Senderz Marketing, then Forms: only the
values in the fields you mapped, the form’s name and the page address it was
submitted from. Fields you did not map are never sent. - With WooCommerce active, the marketing opt-in a shopper ticks at checkout
travels on your existing WooCommerce order webhooks. - With WooCommerce active and cart activity switched on under Settings, then
Senderz, then Store: when a shopper types their email address at the checkout,
that address is sent, and from then on their add to cart, remove from cart and
started checkout activity is sent with the product, price and quantity. Nothing
is sent for a shopper who has not given an email address or signed in. The
address is held in your site’s own WooCommerce session, never in a cookie a
third-party script could read. - With WooCommerce active and back-in-stock requests switched on: the email
address a shopper enters on an out-of-stock product, and whether they ticked
the marketing opt-in, are stored on your site and sent to Senderz when that
product comes back in stock. - If you switch on user sync under Senderz Marketing, then Users: for each
account on the site, its email address, phone number if one is stored, first and
last name, site language and whether the person ticked a marketing opt-in. User
sync is off until you turn it on.
Form submissions are sent after the page has finished loading for the visitor, so
capture never slows a form down. Account changes are sent in the background too.

FAQ
-
Nothing shows on my site
-
Check that Senderz Marketing shows Connected, and that you have a published
popup in Senderz. If you connected Senderz with a different site address, for
example www versus non-www, set it under Advanced. -
I was using Senderz for WooCommerce
-
Install this plugin and it takes over automatically. Your settings carry across
and the old plugin is deactivated. Connect from Senderz Marketing so the
site is linked to your workspace directly. -
Does this send anything before I connect?
-
No. Every outbound behaviour is gated on the connection.
-
How do I capture my contact form?
-
Go to Senderz Marketing, then Forms. Your forms are listed under the plugin
they belong to. Tick Capture submissions, check that the email, phone and name
fields are pointed at the right columns, and save.If a form is not listed, submit it once. Some form plugins do not let us read
their forms until one has been used. -
Does capturing a form subscribe people to marketing?
-
Only if you say so. Each form has a marketing consent setting, and it starts at
never. Capture on its own records the contact without subscribing them. Choose
either that the whole form is a marketing opt-in, or that a specific consent
checkbox on the form has to be ticked. -
Does the back-in-stock message reach everyone who asks for it?
-
No. Senderz only emails people who have opted in to marketing, so the request
form carries an unticked opt-in checkbox. A shopper who leaves it unticked is
still recorded against the product, and you can see the request in Senderz, but
no email is sent to them. -
Which WooCommerce checkout does the opt-in checkbox appear on?
-
The classic checkout shortcode. The block checkout is not supported yet.

Changelog
2.1.4
- First release on the WordPress.org plugin directory.
- Starts the user sync in the background as soon as it is turned on in Senderz, instead of waiting for the next settings refresh.
2.1.3
- Verifies a nonce before recording a marketing opt-in from the registration form, the add user screen and the WooCommerce checkout.
2.1.2
- Renames the plugin to Senderz Marketing and uses the unique senderz-marketing-connect directory slug.
- Loads the Senderz storefront runtime through the WordPress script enqueue API.
- Keeps WooCommerce checkout collection and identified cart activity disabled until an administrator enables them.
2.1.1
- Refreshes the popup runtime after backend releases so storefronts do not keep stale scratch-card and image rendering behavior.
2.1.0
- Moves the Senderz screen to Marketing on WooCommerce stores, and to its own menu on other sites. The old Settings link still works.
- Checkout opt-ins, the wording on each, the list subscribers join, cart tracking, back-in-stock and user sync are now set in Senderz. This screen shows what is set.
- Adds separate SMS and WhatsApp opt-in checkboxes at the checkout, off until you turn them on in Senderz.
- Settings you had already chosen on this site are carried over the first time it connects, so nothing is reset.
2.0.2
- Keeps WordPress integration lookup separate from optional WooCommerce storefront features so published popups resolve correctly.
2.0.1
- Prepares the plugin for WordPress.org directory submission and confirms compatibility with WordPress 7.0.
2.0.0
- Replaces Senderz for WooCommerce with one plugin for any WordPress site.
- Captures submissions from Contact Form 7, WPForms, Gravity Forms, Elementor Pro
Forms, Fluent Forms, Formidable Forms and Ninja Forms, with a per-form field
mapping screen and per-form marketing consent that defaults to off. - Adds a guided connect flow, so credentials no longer have to be pasted by hand.
- WooCommerce checkout opt-in and order recovery links now load only when
WooCommerce is active. - Adds WooCommerce cart and checkout activity for identified shoppers, and an
optional back-in-stock request form on out-of-stock products, both under
Senderz Marketing, then Store. - All outbound behaviour is gated on the connection.
