Searvia Connector

Description

Searvia audits your site and drafts fixes: titles, meta descriptions, canonical tags, robots rules, image alt text,
JSON-LD structured data, hreflang alternates and internal links to orphan pages. Approve a fix in Searvia and this plugin
applies it to the page HTML. Searvia then re-reads the page to confirm the fix is live, and you can roll any fix back.

  • Edits the final HTML in place, so tags printed by your theme, Yoast SEO, Rank Math or All in One SEO are changed, not
    duplicated.
  • The fix list is signed by Searvia and cached for five minutes. If Searvia is unreachable the last good list is used.
  • Works with page caching plugins: fixes are part of the cached page.
  • Internal links: several per page, either as a related link after the article or by turning the first plain mention of a phrase into a link.
  • Publish articles from Searvia’s content writer as drafts or live posts, with the Yoast SEO or Rank Math title and description filled in.
  • AI crawler report with no extra setup: visits from ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google, Bing and other crawlers are sent to Searvia, which verifies them by IP and shows the pages they read and the errors they hit.

You need a Searvia account (a free plan is available). The plugin does nothing until you paste a site key.

External services

This plugin connects to Searvia (https://searvia.com), the SEO service where you approve the fixes. It is required: the
plugin applies the fixes you approved there.

  • When you save the site key, the plugin sends your site address, the plugin and WordPress versions and the name of your
SEO plugin to https://searvia.com/fixes/{key}/hello, signed with your key, so Searvia can confirm the connection.
  • Every five minutes, when a page is viewed, it downloads the signed fix list for your site from
    https://searvia.com/fixes/{key}/feed.
  • Requests from known AI and search crawlers (identified by user agent, for example GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot,
Googlebot) are recorded with their time, IP address, user agent, address, status code and host, and sent to
https://searvia.com/fixes/{key}/crawlers every ten minutes, signed with your key. Searvia uses the IP address only to
verify that the crawler is genuine. Requests from people, logged-in users and the admin area are never recorded or sent.
  • Searvia sends articles you choose to publish to this site’s REST endpoint /wp-json/searvia/v1/posts, signed with your key.

FAQ

Does it slow down my site?

No. The fix list is cached for five minutes and applied to the HTML WordPress already builds. If Searvia cannot be reached,
the last good list is used.

Are crawler visits counted when a page cache serves the page?

Pages served straight from a full-page cache (without running WordPress) are not seen by the plugin. Most crawler
requests still reach WordPress; for complete numbers connect Cloudflare or your server logs in Searvia.

What happens when I deactivate the plugin?

Your pages show their original HTML again. Fixes stay approved in Searvia; reconnect to apply them again.
