Post title filter example

To use the the hook add a filter ‘widget_title’ in wp-content\Themes[your-Theme]\functions.php:

function cruise_shortcode_iconship( $html ) {
return “prefix-” . $html . “-suffix”;
}
add_filter( ‘widget_title’, ‘cruise_shortcode_iconship’ );

The feature image dimention are not correctly displayed?

Enable the option “Use CSS cropping”. This option don’t care about stored setting (Settings > Media) or added image sizes. What is ‘CSS feature image cropping’?

Excerpt length filter doesn’t works

When a post has no manual excerpt WordPress generates an excerpt automatically by selecting the first 55 words of the post or the first words number setted by the excerpt filter length. This means the excerpt length filter works only with automatic excerpt. If you manually added an excerpt, you’d want it all to be shown.

I want the title as a link pointing to the selected Categorie page?

Enable the check box “Make widget title link”.

Reviews

Not as Described, Poor Customer Service

I bought this product because I wanted my posts to look exactly like the pictures.

I initially had trouble installing it due to an error message, and customer service responded promptly that I had to uninstall the free version before installing the premium version.

However, upon installing the premium version, I did not feel that it operated exactly as described. The product did not display a vertical scrolling news ticker for my WordPress blog and display posts as displayed in the picture. It looked different and, therefore, I had no use for the product.

I emailed customer service THE SAME NIGHT that I purchased it for a refund and NEVER got a response.

When I later disputed the purchase through Paypal, the company promptly responded but refused to give a refund. Luckily, I am only out $12 but I am advising potential buyers not to make the same mistake that I did and purchase the product.

Great work!

Thank you for the great plugin! The support is also on the high level. The author added a necessary feature for me just in a couple of days! Now you can use shortcodes in widget titles 🙂

Thank you,
Oksana

Sweet!

Instead of forcing the user to find the category and click it, a collection of related posts appears right there in the sidebar, just begging to be clicked.

Really great functionality. A “must have”, in my book.

Simple

Just works, not too many options everywhere and that’s the point.
Thanks
