Installation
- Upload the
sali-media-optimizerfolder to the/wp-content/plugins/directory, or search for “Sali Media Optimizer” in plugins screen and install. - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
- Navigate to the “Sali Media” menu in your WordPress dashboard to configure the settings.

Does it backup original files?

Yes, if enabled, the plugin keeps original uploads intact by adding a
.originalsuffix. You can restore them individually or in bulk at any time. -
What are the PHP requirements?

It requires PHP 7.4 or later and optionally PHP-GD, Imagick or FFmpeg extension on your server. If missing, it will automatically fallback to the cloud API.
