RSVP ME is a simple yet powerful WordPress plugin which allows you to create events that your site visitors can RSVP to via the event’s page or thorough a calendar widget.

  • RSVP Event Calendar widget (single event for that day opens in a clean lightbox overlay)
  • RSVP Events are Native Custom Post types that fully embrace the WordPress Ecosystem
  • Specify Venue, address, date, etc.
  • Reservers can send an additional message with their response
  • Supports multiple events in a single day
  • Events are searchable
  • Permalinks are supported so takes you to the single RSVP event page (Permalinks must be properly setup)
  • RSVP submissions are done with ajax
  • A very nifty calendar widget styler

This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.

  1. Unpack downloaded zip
  2. Upload the whole directory to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  3. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
  4. Add the RSVP ME Calendar widget to a sidebar.
  5. Add events from the RSVP Events section and your users will be
able to RSVP from the RSVP Me widget calendar or from the single Event page

It almost appeared that it was working however some settings don't save and doesn't show all functions. It's a no go for WP current version. It appears it was last updated 5.5 years ago so I consider it abandoned.
