Description
You write your translations. The plugin does everything else.
REDORZO – Multilingual Translation & SEO makes your WordPress site multilingual: one version per language — /en/, /nl/, /de/ — with translated URLs, its own SEO titles and meta descriptions, hreflang language tags, a sitemap per language and a language switcher. You translate your pages, posts, menus, products and events yourself, in the console or right on the page; each sentence is written once and reused everywhere it appears.
Works with the block editor and classic themes, and tested with WooCommerce, Elementor and The Events Calendar. Your texts never leave your site.
Free, with no limit on languages or pages. Nothing is locked, nothing is reserved for a paid plan: there is no paid plan of this plugin.
Two ways to translate
- In the console, page by page: every sentence of the page in order, the original on the left, your translation on the right. Each sentence is saved as you type.
- On the page itself: open any page of your site while logged in, switch on “Translate with REDORZO” in the toolbar, click a sentence, write its translation, save. The page updates at once.
A sentence written once serves everywhere
The menu, the footer and the buttons are translated once for the whole site. A sentence you already translated on another page is reused on its own. The texts of WordPress and of your theme are already translated by the WordPress community: they are there from the first day, in every language.
Real multilingual SEO
- Pages are translated on the server: search engines read them like any other page.
- Translated addresses (
/en/services/slate-roofing/), written by you. A published address never changes by itself; if you change it, the old one leads to the new one. - Titles and descriptions per language, with the preview of a search result.
- Reciprocal language tags (
hreflang,x-default), the page language in the<html>tag, a canonical address per language. - One site map per language, listed in your robots.txt and in the WordPress site map.
- A page is announced to search engines in a language once it is complete in that language — and once announced, it stays announced. Until then, a missing sentence is shown in your site’s language.
Your languages, at your pace
A language has two states: in preparation (only you and your editors see it; visitors and search engines do not) and published. You publish a language when you decide.
When a sentence changes in your language, its translation goes “to review”: the old translation is offered, never imposed, and your visitors read the new sentence in your language meanwhile.
A glossary reminds you of your words while you write (“never translate”, “always translate as”). It never translates anything for you.
Who translates
Administrators and editors translate — in the console and on the page. Settings stay with administrators. You can open an Editor account for your translator.
The language switcher
Four models (pills, drop-down, flags, discreet), in your menu, as a floating button or in the footer, with or without flags, and a [redorzo_switcher] shortcode. Visitors whose browser speaks a published language are offered it discreetly — never redirected.
What this plugin does not do
- No automatic translation. Every translation is written by you or your team.
- Nothing leaves your site. No account, no key, no external service, no tracking, no remote fonts or scripts. The only connections are the ones WordPress makes itself (updates, and the WordPress community’s language packs when you add a language).
- No import or export. Your translations live in your site’s database and are kept by your usual site backups.
Prefer automatic translation?
TOP TRANSLATE – Automatic Multilingual Translation & SEO, the automatic version by REDORZO, translates your whole site and keeps it up to date. It is available on redorzo.com. The translations you wrote with this plugin are kept.

FAQ
-
Is it really free?
-
Yes. No limit on languages or pages, nothing locked, no account.
-
Does it translate automatically?
-
No. You write your translations, sentence by sentence. The plugin never sends your texts anywhere.
-
Where are my translations stored?
-
In your site’s own database. Your usual backups keep them with the rest of your site. If you delete the plugin, they are kept unless you chose otherwise in Settings.
-
What about the texts of WordPress and my theme?
-
They come from the WordPress community’s language packs, which WordPress installs itself when you add a language. You do not translate them.
-
Can my visitors see a language before I publish it?
-
No. A language in preparation is visible only to you and your editors, and it is hidden from search engines.
-
Does it work with my theme and my cache plugin?
-
It works with block themes and classic themes. Translated pages are complete HTML pages, so page caching plugins keep working; the language suggestion is decided in the visitor’s browser.
-
Does it work with my SEO plugin?
-
Yes. It reads the titles and descriptions your SEO plugin writes (Yoast SEO, Rank Math, SEOPress, All in One SEO, The SEO Framework or WordPress itself), and you translate them in REDORZO › SEO.
