This plugin relies on an external 3rd party cloud service to deliver push notifications to your Android device:

Installation
- In WordPress admin, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin and upload
redhok-order-alerts-for-woocommerce.zip(or copyredhok-order-alerts-for-woocommercefolder into/wp-content/plugins/). - Click Activate Plugin.
- In your WordPress sidebar, go to WooCommerce > Redhok Order Alerts (or click Settings under the plugin).
- Open your Android app, copy your API Key, and paste it into the API Key field.
- Notice “On Hold” is pre-checked by default (recommended for Cash on Delivery & manual orders).
- Click Save Settings.
- Click “Send Test Order Ping” to verify that your Android phone rings!

Where do I get the Android companion app?

Where do I find my API Key?

Open the companion app on your Android phone, create an account, and your Bearer API key will be shown on your dashboard. Tap to copy it.

Will the alarm ring if my Android phone is locked?

Yes. High-priority wake-lock push channels are used so your phone lights up and sounds the alarm even when locked.

Can multiple employees receive alerts?

Yes! Just log into the same store account on multiple phones. All connected devices will ring simultaneously.
