Pronto Infosystem AI Product Assistant for WooCommerce helps store administrators create and update WooCommerce product content with AI.

Features include:

• Generate complete product content.
• Generate product descriptions.
• Generate short descriptions.
• Generate product tags.
• Generate SEO metadata for supported SEO plugins or native plugin metadata.
• Translate products when Polylang is installed.
• Choose between supported AI providers such as OpenAI and Google Gemini.
• Test the configured AI provider connection from the plugin settings.
• Use model-specific controls for supported OpenAI reasoning models.

The plugin does not automatically contact an AI provider until the administrator configures a provider and uses an AI feature or the connection test.

AI-generated content should be reviewed by the site administrator before publication.

Requirements

• WordPress 6.5 or later.
• PHP 7.4 or later.
• WooCommerce.
• An API key for the selected AI provider.
• Polylang is optional and is required only for the translation feature.

External Services

This plugin connects to third-party AI services only when the site administrator configures and uses the corresponding provider or tests its connection.

OpenAI

When OpenAI is selected, the plugin sends the product information included in the generation prompt and the administrator’s prompt to the OpenAI Responses API. The plugin uses the API response to generate requested product content, SEO metadata, tags or translations.

Google Gemini

When Google Gemini is selected, the plugin sends the product information included in the generation prompt and the administrator’s prompt to the Google Gemini API. The plugin uses the API response to generate requested product content, SEO metadata, tags or translations.

No AI provider is contacted merely by installing or activating the plugin.

Privacy

The plugin does not create its own external user account system and does not send analytics or tracking data to the plugin author.

When an administrator uses an AI generation, translation or connection-test feature, information included in the request may be transmitted to the selected third-party AI provider. The exact information depends on the product and action being processed.

Site administrators should review the privacy policy and terms of the selected AI provider and update their site’s privacy documentation as appropriate.

Security

API keys are stored in WordPress options and are used for requests to the provider selected by the site administrator. The plugin uses WordPress nonces and capability checks for its administrative AJAX actions.
