Description
Progality Consent is a cookie consent platform: it scans what your website really loads, shows a clear banner with Reject and Accept on the first layer, holds optional scripts until the visitor chooses, and keeps proof of every choice.
This plugin connects your WordPress site to Progality Consent. It places the Progality installation code first in the head of every page. The banner, its texts, languages and the list of services are managed in the Progality panel.
- Reject and Accept side by side on the first layer; optional categories stay off until the visitor switches them on.
- Google Consent Mode v2, Microsoft UET and other consent signals are set before tags load.
- Works with the WP Consent API: plugins that read consent through it follow the banner.
- Banner in English, German, French, Spanish, Romanian and Turkish.
- Rules per visitor region (EU/EEA, UK, Türkiye, US/California and more), including Global Privacy Control.
- Scans before and after a choice, nightly re-scans and exportable proof records.
You need a Progality account (a free plan is available): https://www.progality.com/consent
External services
This plugin connects your site to the Progality Consent service, run by ALFIN TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS SRL (Progality). Nothing is sent before you save a site ID in Settings > Progality Consent.
- Banner script – every page of your site loads the script progality-consent-runtime.js from https://consent-cdn.progality.com. The visitor’s browser sends the usual request data (IP address, browser, page address) to load it.
- Banner settings and consent records – the script asks https://consent-api.progality.com for the banner settings of your site ID, and when the visitor makes a choice it stores the choice (categories and services chosen, time, banner and policy version, a pseudonymised IP address and a random visitor ID) as proof for you.
- Discovery reports – the script reports to https://europe-west3-progality-insight.cloudfunctions.net the names (never the values) of cookies, storage keys and outside services the page uses, so your Progality panel can show what runs on your site.

FAQ
-
Do I need a Progality account?
-
Yes. The plugin only places the code; the banner and the scans run in Progality Consent. A free plan is available at https://www.progality.com/consent/pricing
-
Where is my site ID?
-
In the Progality panel, on the Installation page of your website. You can also paste the whole installation code into the field; the plugin takes the site ID from it.
-
Does it work with the WP Consent API?
-
Yes. When the WP Consent API plugin is active, the visitor’s choice is passed to it: functional to functional and preferences, analytics to statistics and statistics-anonymous, marketing to marketing.
-
Does it work with Google Tag Manager?
-
Yes, but use one method only. If you install Progality with the Progality tag template in Tag Manager, you do not need this plugin.
-
Does it work with caching and optimisation plugins?
-
The script tag asks WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache, Autoptimize and Cloudflare Rocket Loader not to delay or combine it. If your plugin still delays JavaScript, exclude progality-consent-runtime.js.
