PlusExpert Privacy is a tool that allows WordPress sites in Chile to manage cookie consent and non-essential technologies.
Visitors can accept, reject, or configure consent categories (Analytics and Marketing). Necessary cookies remain always active.
Once a visitor makes a decision, they can modify it at any time through a persistent floating “Configure cookies” button, without relying on the site administrator.
The administrator can customize texts, colors, banner position, and link to the site’s Privacy Policy.
This plugin does not promise legal compliance, does not perform legal analysis, and is not a cookie scanner. Designed exclusively for WordPress sites in Chile.

Installation
- Upload the
plusexpert-privacyfolder to the/wp-content/plugins/directory. - Activate the plugin from the “Plugins” menu in WordPress.
- Go to “PlusExpert Privacy > Cookie Settings” to customize the banner texts and appearance.
- The banner will automatically appear on the public site for visitors who have not yet made a decision.

Does this plugin guarantee legal compliance?

No. PlusExpert Privacy does not promise legal compliance nor perform legal analysis. It only implements the features configured by the administrator.

Does the plugin automatically block Google Analytics or Meta Pixel?

No. PlusExpert Privacy manages consent, but the installation and blocking of those services must be done through the theme, Google Tag Manager, or other specialized plugins. Our plugin controls when they can run based on the visitor’s decision.

Can the visitor change their mind after accepting or rejecting?

Yes. Once the visitor makes a decision, a floating “Configure cookies” button appears in the bottom-left corner. By clicking it, they can modify their consent at any time.

Does it work outside Chile?

The plugin is designed for WordPress sites in Chile, but it can be used in any jurisdiction. The responsibility for verifying compliance with local regulations lies with the site administrator.
