Publish a proper team page in 3 simple steps:
- Add your team members – photo, job title, department, bio, skills and social links
- Pick a layout and save it as a reusable View
- Drop in the
[plugixa_team]shortcode or the Plugixa Team block, and publish
Every team is marked up with schema.org JSON-LD – each member as a Person, linked to your Organization – so search engines can read who works for you.
Two Ready Team Layouts
Pick a layout, save it as a View, and reuse it anywhere – no design skills needed.
✅ Grid – a clean, responsive card grid with columns set per desktop, tablet and mobile
✅ List – a roomy, full-width layout for text-forward team directories
Every layout ships with a dark mode colour set, switchable per shortcode.

🧑💼 Rich Member Profiles
Every member gets a photo, job title, department, full and short bio, contact details, location, website and hire date, plus a ribbon badge to highlight new hires or team leads. Mark members as featured, keep them as drafts until they are ready, and set their order by drag and drop – across the whole team or inside each group.
📊 Skills and Social Links
Add skills with a percentage and a colour, and they render as progress bars on the member card. Social links cover 15 platforms – including LinkedIn, X (Twitter), GitHub, Instagram and YouTube – plus a personal website, and render as icons whose size, colour, hover colour and spacing you set in the View.
🗂️ Groups and Group Navigation
Organise members into groups – departments, offices or project teams. A member can belong to several groups, and each group keeps its own display order. Show a group navigation above the team as tabs, pills or a dropdown, with optional member counts, so visitors can filter the team without reloading the page.
🔍 Team Schema for Search Engines
Every team outputs schema.org JSON-LD – each member as a Person with name, job title, photo, skills and social profiles, working for your Organization, and the whole team as an ItemList. When Yoast SEO or Rank Math is active, the team is merged into their schema graph instead of printing a second, competing block.
🎨 Customize Visually with Saved Views
A View is a reusable display design: layout, columns per breakpoint, colours, typography, spacing, skill bars, social icons, group navigation and pagination. Edit it with a live preview, save as many as you like, then reference one from any shortcode or from the block – change the View and every placement updates.
🌍 Multilingual and Translation Ready
Plugixa Team works with WPML and Polylang, including translatable members and groups, and ships translation-ready strings throughout.
🧩 Works With Gutenberg and Page Builders
Use the Plugixa Team block in Gutenberg, or the shortcode in any builder, page, post or widget area.

External services
This plugin connects to the third-party services listed below. Apart from Freemius, every connection is optional: it is made only when a site administrator turns the relevant feature on, supplying their own API key where one is needed.
The only service the free plugin contacts is Freemius. The Pro version can also contact OpenAI, Google Gemini and Cloudflare Turnstile, and fetch a web page you choose to import from – each only once you turn that feature on.
Freemius
Used for license activation, plugin updates, and optional anonymous usage diagnostics. On activation you are shown an opt-in screen; if you skip it, no identifiable data is sent. When you activate a license or check for an update, your site URL, the plugin version, and your license key are sent to https://api.freemius.com. If you opt in to diagnostics, anonymous information about your WordPress and PHP versions and which plugin features you use in the admin is also sent.
Provided by Freemius, Inc. – Terms: https://freemius.com/terms/ – Privacy: https://freemius.com/privacy/
OpenAI (Pro)
Used only when an administrator generates content with the AI generator and has selected OpenAI as the provider, which is a premium feature: the free plugin makes no request to this service. Your prompt, the surrounding content you asked to work from, the selected model, and your own OpenAI API key are sent to https://api.openai.com. The generated text is returned to your site and nothing is stored by the plugin outside your own database.

Google Gemini (Pro)
Used only when an administrator generates content with the AI generator and has selected Google Gemini as the provider, which is a premium feature: the free plugin makes no request to this service. Your prompt, the surrounding content you asked to work from, the selected model, and your own Google AI API key are sent to https://generativelanguage.googleapis.com. The generated text is returned to your site and nothing is stored by the plugin outside your own database.

Web page and document import (Pro)
Used only when an administrator chooses to generate content from a web address, which is a premium feature. The plugin fetches that address from your server so its text can be used as the source for generation. The request goes to whatever address you supply, so the operator of that site receives your server’s IP address and user agent. No request is made unless you enter an address yourself. Uploaded PDF and Word documents are parsed on your own server and are not sent anywhere.
Cloudflare Turnstile (Pro)
Used only if an administrator enables Turnstile on the frontend team member submission form, which is a premium feature: the free plugin makes no request to this service. When a visitor submits the form, a Turnstile challenge is loaded in the visitor’s browser from https://challenges.cloudflare.com, and the resulting token plus your Turnstile secret key are sent from your server to https://challenges.cloudflare.com/turnstile/v0/siteverify for verification. Cloudflare therefore receives the visitor’s IP address and browser information when the form is displayed. If Turnstile is off, no request is made.

FAQ
-
Q. How do I add a team member?
-
After activating the plugin, open Plugixa Team in the WordPress admin menu, go to Members and click “Add Member”. You get fields for the photo, job title, department, bio, contact details, skills and social links.
-
Q. How do I display my team on my site?
-
Use the
[plugixa_team]shortcode or the Plugixa Team block on any page, post or widget area. -
Q. What is a View?
-
A View is a saved, reusable display design – layout, colours, typography, spacing, group navigation and pagination. Reference it from a shortcode or the block, and editing the View updates every placement at once.
-
Q. Can I show only one department or group?
-
Yes. Add
group="..."with a group slug, name or ID – several can be separated by commas – or pick the groups in the Shortcode Builder.department="..."filters by the member’s department instead. -
Q. Does it output structured data for SEO?
-
Yes. Every team is marked up with schema.org JSON-LD – Person, Organization and ItemList – so search engines can read it. When Yoast SEO or Rank Math is active, the team is added to their schema graph. Schema output can be switched off in the settings.
-
Q. Is it compatible with page builders?
-
Yes. The shortcode works in Gutenberg and major page builders, and the Plugixa Team block is included.
-
Q. Does it support translations?
-
Yes. Plugixa Team is compatible with WPML and Polylang, including translatable members and groups.
-
Q. Does it slow down my site?
-
No. The plugin’s CSS and JavaScript load only on pages that display a team, and every asset is bundled with the plugin and served from your own server rather than a CDN.
-
Q. What is the difference between the free and Pro versions?
-
The free plugin is a complete team manager – grid and list layouts, Views, saved shortcodes, skills, social links, groups, pagination and schema.org structured data. Pro adds seven more layouts, the AI Team Generator, custom fields, import and export, frontend member submission, the Elementor widget, WooCommerce integration and demo content. See the Pro features.
-
Q. Where can I find the documentation?
