PeriShip for WooCommerce

Please refer to the installation directions for important setup directions. PeriShip for WooCommerce enables seamless integration between your WooCommerce store and PeriShip’s specialized shipping services for temperature-controlled and perishable goods.

External services

After configuration of your plugin with your partner id and api key, and enabling it in a shipping zone,
this plugin will rate shipments that correspond to that shipping zone at the PeriShip API, showing
methods you have allowed. The rates returned back will be your PeriShip account specific rates for
the shipment.

In order to rate the shipment, the following data is included for rating: recipient address, address type
of recipient, current date, dimensions of boxes (if supplied), cumulative weight of product per box, and
special services as indicated as necessary to be rated by the product or category such as:
dry ice, declared value, signature requirement. One request to the API will be sent per box that needs
to be rated, and these API replies will be summed up and presented at cart checkout according to plugin
configuration.

If your API is specified as production, then the above mentioned data will be sent to:
https://rate.api.periship.com/v1/rate

If your API is specified as development, then the above mentioned data will be sent to:
https://test-rate.api.periship.com/v1/rate
