This plugin by PepoCloud puts PepoChat, our AI support agent, on your WordPress site. Paste your Organization ID once and the chat widget appears on every page: no theme edits, no code.
The agent answers only from the knowledge base you give it (your website, PDFs, docs), streams replies instantly and says so when it does not know, instead of guessing. Connect your tools in the PepoChat dashboard and it does more than answer:
- Order status from WooCommerce, Shopify or Stripe, live in the chat.
- Tickets filed in Zendesk, Freshdesk, Zoho Desk, HubSpot, Salesforce or Jira, with the conversation attached.
- Meetings booked on your calendar in the visitor’s own timezone.
- Alerts to Slack or Discord the moment something urgent comes up.
- Human handoff to your live inbox, with the whole conversation already there.
Everything about the widget (colours, greeting, suggested questions, allowed domains) is managed in your PepoChat dashboard, so the plugin stays tiny: one settings page and one script tag.
Plugin settings
- Organization ID (required): connects the widget to your workspace.
- Widget position: bottom right or bottom left.
- Preload: load the chat in the background during idle time so the first open is instant.
- Hide for logged-in users.
- Hide on specific paths, with
*wildcards, for example/checkoutor/my-account/*.
Developers can filter pepochat_should_render to control where the widget prints and pepochat_widget_script_url for staging deployments.

External services
This plugin loads the PepoChat chat widget from https://widget.pepochat.com/widget.js on the pages where it is enabled, and the widget talks to PepoChat’s servers to answer your visitors. Messages a visitor types, and the name or email they choose to give, are sent to PepoChat so the agent can reply and your team can follow up. No data is sent until the widget loads on a page.

Installation
- In your WordPress admin go to Plugins Add New Plugin, search for PepoCloud AI Support Agent and click Install Now, then Activate. (Or upload the plugin zip under Upload Plugin.)
- Go to Settings PepoCloud Agent.
- In your PepoChat dashboard open Widget Setup and copy the Organization ID. Don’t have an account? Create one for free at https://app.pepochat.com/sign-up.
- Paste the ID into the plugin settings and click Save changes.
- Visit your site: the chat launcher sits in the corner you chose.

Where do I find my Organization ID?

In the PepoChat dashboard, under Widget Setup. It is a 32-character code. You can also paste the whole install snippet into the plugin; the ID is picked out for you.

Does it work with my theme or page builder?

Yes. The widget is added with a script tag in the footer, so it works with any theme, Elementor, Divi, Bricks, WPBakery, block themes and classic themes alike.

Does it slow my site down?

No. The script loads asynchronously after your page, and the chat itself loads during idle time (or on click, if you turn preload off). Nothing blocks rendering.

Can I hide the widget on some pages?

Yes. Under Settings PepoCloud Agent Hide on these pages add one path per line, with
*as a wildcard. You can also hide it for logged-in users. -
Does it work with WooCommerce?

Yes. Install this plugin for the widget, then connect the WooCommerce integration in the PepoChat dashboard (a read-only REST API key). The agent then answers “where is my order?” with the live order status.

Your site is serving cached pages. The plugin asks LiteSpeed, WP Rocket, W3 Total Cache, WP Super Cache, WP Fastest Cache, SiteGround, WP Engine and Breeze to purge whenever you save its settings; if your cache is elsewhere (a CDN, for example), purge it once and the launcher appears.

Is it GDPR friendly?

The widget only sends what a visitor types into the chat. Visitor identities are verified with one-time email codes before any personal context is shown. See the privacy policy at https://pepochat.com/privacy and add PepoChat to your own policy as a processor.
