Pilot version of Paywerk’s WooCommerce plugin’s 2nd generation.
Paywerk offers Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) payments: Pay in x parts or Pay in x days. Payments are based on debit or credit card. Order full amount will be paid to merchant after order. Overview of the transactions can be found in our Merchant Portal.
Paywerk provides BNPL payments in cooperation with Swedbank. In order to enable Paywerk’s payments please contact Swedbank.
Currently available only in Estonia.

Installation

In order to use Paywerk Payments plugin, you need to have a Merchant account at Paywerk. It will be created once the payment method is enabled by Swedbank.
The only thing you need for configuration is API key. You can generate an API key through Merchant Portal’s menu “API keys”.
- Find the plugin through WordPress’s menu Plugins, use search keyword “Paywerk”.
- Go to WooCommerce -> Settings -> Payments -> Paywerk Payments.
- Add API key that was shown in Merchant Portal.
- Choose “Sandbox” mode if you want to try it out. Leave the checkbox unchecked to use the production mode. Note that you do need a separate sandbox account if you wish to do so. For that please contact merchant-support@paywerk.co.
- Save changes.
- Make sure the plugin and payment method are both activated.
